Fly a kite.
I've been wanting to do this alone or with a friend or a group of friends. 12 years ago, when I was innocently  8 years old.. I remembered flying a kite in front of my father's grocery shop. The higher it flies, the happier I was because at that time, I felt extremely great to see my kite, soaring high, gaining its freedom as the strong wind blows. I remembered clearly that it almost knock the aeroplane which was flying towards my kite, hahahaha silly me, how could a plane knock such a light kite and I'm pretty sure it was one of the optical illusions that I once had during younger times. :P Whether the kite has blocked the pilot's view or not, I was darn happy to see my kite flying next to the plane (optical illusion, pardon me) hahahah again, I felt great. :)

Read a book.
I never like reading books. Have I told you this? Because once before I never think reading books could improve my language but I was sorely wrong. Mr. Midnight series by James Lee was the saviour of my language proficiency. :) I'll never forget how it brings joy, and horror to me back in those days when I was 14. :) Today, reading a book has been like a habit to me. I love it. I love reading every words and thoughts that the writer wants to express, of course there will always be the time where I got bored of reading but the moment when you're about to finish a book after days of reading it, in the end, you'll learn something and there's this pure of joy feeling which is indescribable that makes you look forward to read another new book, with a smile again. :)

Learn something NEW.
This, has always been effective and probably the nicest among all the list above. Cooking, photographing, travelling, DIY, handcrafting, etc. Don't stress yourself when you're taking in something new to your brain. Relax and learn it genuinely, if not, how can you take a break from life?

Put on some music and DANCE.
I DID THIS I DID THIS. During the Valentine's Day. :D Hahahahahahahahahaha - don't ask me why, I just did! :D

Take a bike ride.
Gah. I. miss. this. so. so. so. frigging much!
I stopped riding my bike (bicycle) since I was 14, again. The bicycle was too small for me, therefore it was donated to the child whom my mum taken care of. :( Well yeah, since then I never ride anymore.

Watch the stars.

When I was a young, little PK, I pulled out the lazy chair, setting myself comfortably, head facing the starry sky. I wasn't a fan of constellations, hence muttered to myself while pointed aimlessly at the sky, "That must be the buruj pari (Crux) !". Well, I don't know what does it call in English, just so you know I learnt Science in Malay language when I was in standard four, five and six. :)
Someday, I was hoping to view the starry sky again, with anyone, preferably the person whom I love, friends or family I don't mind as long as we get to see and enjoy the nature together, I'd be more than happy. :)

Write a letter.
Occasionally, I do this to my close friends, to my loved ones. I must admit, I miss writing letters and receiving letters. :')

Rest your legs up on a wall.
One word : AWESOME.
You guys must do this when you're free. It's fun, yet painful if you do it for too long but the "fun" resting your butt on the wall is.. .. .. hehe try it yourself.

Watch the clouds.
Staring at the movement of clouds actually makes you believe that the Earth is actually spinning, turning and for that time is actually slowly tickling away from us. I love watching the clouds. Maybe I love the different patterns or the colours.. I don't know, it's just lovely.

Read or watch something funny.
Tumblr, twitter or facebook do a great job when it comes to this. Sometimes Papa got curious and would laugh along when he sees me laughing alone in front of the computer screen. That's awkward.

Forgive someone.
I don't just forgive, I ask forgiveness randomly from anyone at any time. I think it's good. It feels nice and comforting especially when the person who once hate you forgave you for whatever you had done. Vice versa, I do forgive those who hurt me. I mean, letting go something that cause pain to your heart is very soothing. It's not easy to forget but when the time comes, it'll be wiped off from your mind eventually. :)
Or.. it's just me. I apologise to everyone even I did not do anything wrong.

Give thanks.
Say thank you, to everyone who have helped you, who have been there for you. Show them your appreciation by simplicity - a hug, a kiss, a small gift, a message or anything that is inexpensive. :)

Engage in small acts of kindness.
I think volunteer is the best to fall in this category. :)

All in all,
taking a break means stay away from the stressful life and engaged yourself with relaxing activities.

Right now, I feel like going to the zoo. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Okbai. :P

SUPER EGGS ;

Proudly presents you my SUPER EGGS xD xD

standing proudly! #LIKEABOSS

Muahahahahahahahaha. xD

Kay, kay. Enough of the stupidity-evil-laughs.

It's  立春 (pronounce as Li Chun) today! It was believed that "Li Chun" is the starting of Spring according to the East-Asian calendar. It begins when the Sun reaches the celestial longtitude of 315° and ends when it reaches the longtitude of 330°. :)

Here are some facts >  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egg_of_Li_Chun

I was greatly inspired by my dearly current classmates and my nephew, who were so excited about all these standing eggs -photos that they posted up to facebook. Jeez.
Now, I have my sets of eggs, STANDING TOO! xD xD
Speaking of following the trend. xD

Smiley-eggs. :D

Hehe.

That's all for today.
Till then!

Accuracy is exploded ;

So I've found an interesting website last year, sat for a personal quiz, kept this in draft for months, unsure when to post this.
It's a simple physchology test, which the results suprised me. Serious, no lie. Kinda accurate, I must say.

Get to know yourself better. (The one highlighted in itallic pink means I agree.)

Your view on yourself: You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don't like conflict. Because you're so cheerful and fun people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:
You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.

What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

The Real You
Here is the analysis:
  1. You've got great self-confidence and you're full of charm. Most guys who get to know you will be attracted to you. You are far from sweet and proper; your intriguing personality fascinates them. Most guys find it easy to fall for a girl like you.
  2. You really care about other people's feelings and are quite serious about the issues that affect your life. You are sincere, and your concern for the well-being of others makes many people want to be your friend.
  3. You strictly follow rules, and you expect other people to be the same as well. People can get tired of you easily, as you can make them feel a little guilty about themselves. You always make decisions on your own, and can be dismissive of other people's advice. You like to be the leader in groups, but can forget to be concerned about the people you are with.
  4. Your peers think of you as a fun person, but sometimes you can be a little irresponsible. You can be somewhat childish, and can try to ignore the fact that you will one day need to really grow up and be a mature adult! Perhaps you could start reading good books; they might help you look at the world in a different light. You do want to be taken seriously, right?
  5. Your boyfriend believes that you are a strong and independent person. Your confidence and cheerfulness make you an attractive person to be around, but sometimes you need to pay more attention to what other people, including your boyfriend, are thinking.
What type of personality do you have?
Here's the analysis :
Your kindness is your charm - you are also gentle and sweet. Everybody likes to be around people with your personality. Like a psychologist, people like to talk to you to discuss their problems because you are proper and discrete, as well as confident. You look mature and people respect you. People with this kind of character are few and far between.

Do you think all these matched my personalities? Perhaps you can try taking this quiz?
I'm sure the answer will be more or less, THE SAME.

Blehhhh.

Laziness is a disease ;

As what I've promised at twitter, tadaaa! > the blog title (read yourself)  :)

Laziness?
It is a state of idleness and inner resistance to exerting effort and acting. It is a state of passivity and of letting things stay as they are. Sometimes we enjoy being a little lazy, such as after working hard for several hours, or on a very cold or warm day, but if this state occurs too often, something has to be done about it.

I hereby present you..
A few EXTREME examples of laziness. (Look at the pictures)

Sources : HERE
Question : How to overcome laziness?
Here are some solutions! :D

  1. Gear yourself up into action by telling yourself something likeI want to do this now! I’ll just do it and rest later
Say it out loud if you have to. You'll feel motivated after this :)
  2. Stay off the couch until you are ready to take a break.
When you do sit, set a time when you will return to your task or to do other activities around the house: read a book, run a load of laundry, write to a friend, etc.
  3. We often avoid tasks because we find them too big, too overwhelming, too tiring or taking too much of our time. Breaking a task into several smaller tasks can solve this problem. Then each one will not seem so difficult or intimidating. Instead of having one big task, we will have a series of small tasks, which do not require too much effort.
  4. Rest sleep and exercise
In some cases, laziness is due to being tired and lacking energy. If this is true in your case, you need to give yourself the rest and sleep you need, and also give your body enough exercise and fresh air.
  5. Have a vision of what and who you want to be
Frequently reflecting on the person we want to be, the goals we want to achieve, and the life we want to live, can motivate us to act.
  6. Think about benefits
Think about the benefits you will gain if you overcome your laziness and take action, instead of thinking about the difficulties or obstacles. Focusing on the difficulties of the task or action lead to discouragement, avoidance of taking action and to laziness. It is important that you focus your mind and attention on the benefits, not on the difficulties.
  7. Thinking about the consequences
Think about what will happen, if you succumb to laziness, and don't perform your task or chore. Thinking about the consequences, if you do not act, can also push you to take action.
  8. Procrastination
Avoid procrastination, which is a form of laziness. If there is something you have to do, why not do it right now and get through with it? Why let it stay nagging at the back of your head?
  9. Learn from successful people
Watch successful people, and how they do not let laziness win. Learn from them, talk with them and associate with them.
  10. Surround yourself with supportive people.
When laziness begins to set in, one of the worst things you can do is surround yourself with other lazy people. Instead, actively seek out people -- in both professional and personal settings -- who will support your ideas, encourage your success and embrace you as a person.
Overcoming this habit can be achieved through a series of daily actions and activities. You'll eventually feel and get STRONGER when you overcome the habit. And for that, you increase your ability to win, achieve goals and improve your life :)

Who knows?  You can be like this creature below.

From a SUPER-fat-LAZY cat to SUPER-slim-cool-cat. xD

How To Smile ;

Don't doubt, don't question.
You're on the right spot, right place and right time.
Yes,
YOU
are reading a post with the title : HOW TO SMILE... GREATLY and NATURALLY :]
No smirk, no grins, no giggles,
just smile :)

First and foremost,
  • Always be comfortable with your smiles
A smile always looks good. Feeling nervous about the beauty or appearance of your smile is unnecessary. Trust that your smile makes you look great. Don't care what others think. You choose your smile. Be confident and show them who's smile is better! ;D
  • Stop being a people pleaser.
If you are constantly smile in order to be polite and agreeable, you're tightly controlling your countenance and not giving your Duchenne smile much of a chance to shine through. Plus, if you're focused on everyone else's happiness, you're neglecting your own. A real smile arises from your own personal joy, not someone else's. Always remember that! :D

  • Brush your teeth twice a day.
Maybe use mouthwash in the morning and floss at night but brush your teeth both times. Afterall, sparkling white teeth does make you feel extremely good, no? :)
Oh no no no, yellowish-acceptable-colour teeth like me *coughs* makes you feel awesome too! Hehe :P
By Ryan Brenizer

Smiles are contagious.
When someone smiles at you, you can't help, but smile back!
So true, isn't it? :)

  • Practice your smile.
Practicing your smile definitely brings no danger. By doing so, it'll not only boost your confidence, but also improve your sense of well-being! You'll eventually get to learn and know which of your smiles are your best. Practice in front of a mirror until you get it just right. Keep practicing, and pay attention to how that great smile feels. One day, you'll likely find that you'll look more photogenic in your next set of pictures :)
  • Note the difference between a smile and a grin.
Grins bare a lot more teeth. Try showing only your upper teeth when you smile. Showing your lower teeth can make it seem you're baring your teeth. When showing your teeth (and if you happened to have gaps between your teeth like ME) , pressing the tongue behind the teeth will make small gaps look less noticeable :)

Smiles improve one's appearance.
There was once Charles Gordy said, "A smile is an inexpensive way to change your looks". Now, think about a person who is frowning and a person who is smiling – who tends to be the better looking?

  • Practice in a mirror.
This sounds silly, everyone knows. But by doing it, you will begin to laugh, which will help you see what your natural smile looks and feels like.
Say an "eeeee" or maybe "chEEEESE" sound. Your mouth naturally forms a smile while making these sound.
Generally for a photo, smile 20 percent more than you think you should. Smile too wide literally indicates you as laugh. Not smile :)

Smiles make things right again. Smiles make you feel good. Even if you're feeling a little blue, insert happy thoughts into your mind and just add that smile. The smile will trick your mind into feeling better, as endorphins are released to reduce physical or emotional stress. Smiles make other people feel good. An open-mouthed smile is visible from further away than a frown, offering people reassurance that you're friendly and make you appear more approachable.. -wikihow.com
A smile is universally understood language. A smile can say thank you. A smile can say I'm sorry. A smile can say you're happy. A smile can say that you're in a good mood and you're not about to bite someone's head off. It's an extremely valuable tool. No matter where you go, or whatever the language people of that place speak, everyone in all countries and cultures understands and responds to a smile.
Smiling is a good long-term predictor of happier life outcomes. Eventually, smiles attract health, happiness, friends, success, and a longer life :) - wikihow.com

  • Try a light smile
Don't show as many teeth as you would when you're laughing. It's the best smile for flirting - light and seductive.

    • Don't compare yourself to the celebrities you see on TV, in pictures, etc..
Everybody has a smile waiting to burst out from inside them somewhere!
    • Smile with your eyes
A wholehearted smile will naturally draw in the eyes. Very often you heard people, (like Tyra Bank) say, " Her eyes were smiling". Ohh yeah. It is very common to hear that actually ;)
While it's hard to fake this unless you're really feeling it, you can try this exercise:

To get a feel for how to make your eyes smile, stand in front of a mirror and practice smiling, but concentrate only on your eyes. You may find it helpful to cover the lower part of your face with a piece of paper. Play around with it a bit, and you'll find that you can make your mouth smile when your eyes aren't smiling, and you can also smile only with your eyes. When your eyes do smile, remember how it feels, which muscles are working and how. With practice, you may discover how to smile with your eyes at will by relying on your feelings and muscle memory.

Now WHO says smile is a girl's thing?
Men/Guys who smile looks charming, and just.. nice.
    Macho guys DON'T smile.
    Dude,
    like come on!
     ...

    :)
No research has shown that, only smiles with teeth looks perfect.

    • You don't need perfect teeth to have a perfect smile.
Yes. Both sex. Not everybody has perfect teeth, and that's okay. Beautiful teeth are nice, but a great smile doesn't depend on standard model's teeth. That said, if you feel uncomfortable about your teeth you may be reluctant to smile, and that's no good. Or, you could smile with your mouth closed if preferred :)
    • Think of a moment that you truly cherish, one that makes you happy and gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling.
Remembering these will spread a radiant, unforced smile across your face and light up your eyes.
Just look at the picture above. Aishwarya Rai looks so beautiful with the smile, don't cha think? ;)
    • Do not be afraid that people will judge you about your teeth whether you have braces or not.
Show some teeth and you'll feel much more confident.
      Oh yehh, baby! :D
    • Stop being self conscious of your teeth.
Many people who are self-conscious about their teeth (like me) sometimes don't smile, or do a closed-lipped smile that looks really forced. If you learn to like your teeth (or at least not think about them), your smile may start to look more natural.

This is a perfect reminder, people! :)

Frown and you frown alone, but smile and the whole world smiles with you!
Not just any smile will do, though. With 19 variations on the smile, including 16 produced by enjoyable emotions,
smiling is an incredibly important part of our lives.

    Last but not least,

    • Be yourself!
Don't be someone who has no confidence or too much confidence. Be yourself and you will be loved. Bear in mind that, smile is priceless. Be you! People in the world would like to see YOU(!) not anybody else. :)
    DUDE, WHAAAAAT'S UP :D
    So that's it! :D

    18 February 2011

    Half-day trip;

Ignore the title of the pictures. I was just simply exxagerating ;b

There was no way that we could go to all these places by a car, because reason number #1, we don't have any P license yet , reason number #2, we don't plan to pay so much parking fees nor interest in finding any parking places as so you know, KL is always busy with vehicles and reason number #3, we prefer public transport :)
Needless to say, train is always our best friend, except the fact that we have to JAM-PACK(!) , experiencng the feeling of being a sardine with the crowd, during the peak hours. That sucks, really.
Incase you're wondering, I received an e-mail from  nuffnang on my birthday last Thursday, saying that I've been selected to receive FOUR (4) complimentary passes for any movie at TGV cinemas nationwide. Oh no, oh no. I said what?
I said : ULTRA COOL, man!

Feeling shock, I thought I was dreaming. No, I wasn't. It was true, until I read THIS.
I feel outdated -___- as usual.
On a brighter note, I was one of the lucky one to actually get chosen for that.
    So Jyeah.

Oh well. I've decided to collect the tickets with Alia since she agreed that she would love to explore the whole KL :b
The day before today, I phone-called the office, asking for direction if we were to go by train. Hung up, googled about the place, printed the map, slept. There I go.

Around 9.15 am, Alia's family fetched us to the UKM station, which we thanked god that the amount of people were less than we expected. The train arrived in a minute or less, hence we squeezed ourselves in the non-lady couch. I didn't realised how many minutes the train brought us to KL Sentral station, but what I knew was I can't stop talking with my best friend almost about anything :)

From KL Sentral, we got to walk down the stairs, then cross a few roads to the monorail station. Then we took the monorail and within 5-10 minutes, we've arrived at the Medan Tuanku station. That's when our adventures really began. As we are not KL people, we are definitely not familiar with all the roads.
After that, we met two stairs from the station which one was left and the other one was right.
By recognising the brown building on my left, we walked down the stairs, slowly and saw

When we proceed further, we saw this :
    Sheraton Hotel

Turned right, we got to see so many bars and pubs. As soon as we noticed the Jalan Yap Ah Shak sign board, we crossed the road.

Tadaa! We are here already! Hehehe.
Nuffnang's office is in the Heritage House a.k.a (Wisma Warisan). We went in, to see a sign board showing Nuffnang's office floor, which was 12 B. Weird huh?
When we got up, the building looks like a hotel with many many rooms. Nonetheless, we searched and found the room that we wanted :P

There you see. I gently knocked the door and was greeted by a very pleasant lady. I told her our purpose (is to collect the tickets, erhem, this and that), which then I signed my name and left the small-orange office. Oh wow. THAAAAAAAAAAAAT easy! :D

Ally and I were a little shocked because ..
    1. we thought Nuffnang office would be H.U.G.E, you know.
    2. we were thinking what shall we do next since it's only 10.50 AM.
    Pfffts.

With our unsure faces, we got the best idea, that was to toss a coin.
Head : Time Square Tail : KLCC

    Guess what we got? :P
We walked back to the Medan Tuanku monorail, decided to go to Imbi station, which literally connected to the shopping centre called by the name T. *smirks

Our first stop was Borders, the bookstore that files for bankcrupty?! Wth. Was it true neway?
It was really pathetic to see the only one floor of Borders, lesser books, less interesting.
Then, we carried on with our brief travel by foot to either clothing stores or the delicious-looking restaurant. God knows, we ended up eating at Oldtown White coffee, which was located next to the cinema. Since it was still 12 almost to 1, we wanted to watch any movie, to spend the free time that we have, but too bad, none of the movie in the list was nice.

To energize ourself, we did some exercise and made our way to Sg. Wang *smirks again
It was pretty awesome though, walking and crossing the very busy Bukit Bintang road. Hehe, I'm being weird I know :P

Walked.sat.walked.sat. Karaoke was too expensive, as we had reach the "happy hours" which actually cost rm 22 per person (Y__Y) Very "happy" to see the price indeed.
    *insert sarcasm here*

Honestly speaking, the MPH bookstore here was darn boring! No offence though.
We tossed a coin again, determining our next fate place I mean (chehh) , the head showed us that we GOT TO head to Pavillion KL! Booyeah :P

We spent only around an hour there, reading CLEO and SEVENTEEN magazine at The Times bookstore (The only bookstore in Pavillion). The books available here were nicely arranged, organized, better 100x than Time Square's Borders or Sg Wang's MPH.
    1. and 2. Monorail
    3. Old Town White Cofee
    4. Sg. Wang
    5. Pavillion, KL
Time showed 3.30pm, and it's time to go back. We headed to Bukit Bintang monorail station, to take the monorail back to KL Sentral. From the main station, we took the Kereta api Tanah Melayu to go back to the UKM station.

Otw back, both of us were bathed with heavy sweats. But that didn't stop us from chatting like we own the world, where people kept staring at us. Mehh, we don't really care though :P
Here are some of our conclusions :
    • Feelings of the day : Both happy and exhausted
    • Gifts of the day : A jigsaw puzzle and a hair clip [from me to ally :) ]
    • Friendship gift of the day : Ring
    • Fate of the day : Tossing 20 cent coin :b
    • Record of the day : Explore four places in 6 hours. (well not literally explore, just walk through)
I -hereby, specially want to thank GOOGLE MAP for being so efficient, and some of the blogs I read via google search.
I'm sorry if I've not explained it well here but you can read this > blog  (if you happened to go to Nuffnang office one day)
This was the first blog I read which I really got to know the direction perfectly well and how exactly Nuffnang office looks like.
Other than that, a huge shoutout to TGV Cinemas for being so incredibly awesome for giving me this super sweet birthday surprise ;)

    Thank you Nuffnang!
    Thank you, TGV cinemas! :)
