Day 2 of the Dragon Year ;

FOOD.  Needless to say, the meal was more than just heaven. (Y)

Wanna know something cool?
All of us were on skype with our Aussie families the whole entire afternoon instead of the usual yearly calls. Since it's expensive to make phonecalls, internet certainly has made our life so much easier!

:)
Two-laptops-at-the-dining-table, two webcams pointing at you.
(You have no where to escape. Muahaahahaha *random laughs)

So whenever we talk, we tend to look LEFT and RIGHT WHILE eating. (lol)
It was really nice, exchanging new year wishes,
as well as
sharing different kind of Malaysian-Aussie-jokes?
xD

This dog here named - Popper is an ultra shy creature
whenever a camera is one inch away from her.

She is, however obedient and nice.
She doesn't bark as she wish,
she doesn't growl when she sees my presence.
Best of all, she never attempt to pretend to bite me or chase me whenever I look at her.

Hahahahaha :P

I told you that she's a camera-shy-animal, right?

I PROVED YOU WRONGGG!

xD
because..
..
...

I managed to snap a photo with HER.

Yay me?

xD
xD
XD

HEHE.The photos above were just SOME of the shots that I snapped today.
Well, I'm putting my CNY photography session to an end here.
Gotta start concentrating on serious task (you-know-what) now, otherwise I'll really faint after this Sunday.

NEVERMIND if you don't get me.
I am not expecting you to understand anyway.
Gees.

Imma end my post with this emo photo!
(unedited, because I don't know how to and I want the photo to be natural)

Rate? :)

Conversation between . .

Me and Sis S

He's flowing Canon blood! *points to her friend who uses a Canon DSLR*
We are having Nikon blood in our body, while SHE *points at me*.. a mixture of Canon, Nikon, Sony, or what?
*huh? in silent*
What do you want? Canon or Nikon?
Nikonnnn! *replies in an excited tone*
HAHAHA! *claps*

Me and Uncle S

Khim ahhh, faster get yourself a DSLR. All these DSLR bags are waiting, and I'm waitinggg!
*grins*
...

Hearing all these is making me happy. ESPECIALLY the second conversation :]

Told ya' my maternal family is awesome like thaaaat! Save as Draft
Now, a new determination is flowing through every of my brain cells. I'm adding a number in new year resolution.
THAT IS :

I.AM.GOING.TO.GET.MYSELF.A.DSLR.WITH.MY.OWN.MONEY.
hopefully by next year.
Previously, I was thinking to own that camera after pursuing a degree or master at least?
But I changed my mind. How long can we still stay young?
What if the world really comes to an end on 2012 which I hope it's not true but rumours?
Yeah. I am NOT going to demand a single cent from my parents. Either by working, or the amount of money contain in the angpows, OR birthday present in the form of ringgit Malaysia, I am planning to collect at least three to four thousand bucks.

Hint : To those who is planning to give me a birthday present, PLEASE save your money. Don't waste your money buying photo album or anything like that. SAVE IT. On the other way round, if you really really wish to give me something which uses cash, simple.
Go take a red packet, insert that cash into the packet and hand it to me.
That would be much better. :)

Yeah. In that way, I will feel happy. I can totally taste the satisfaction of getting what I want by my own hard work.

Just a short note before I go to bed ;
A bucket of thank you to my cousin sister, Sue Yen who made my dream come true :)
I've been wanting a mp3 for ages!
Excuse my outdate-ness or whatever, I don't own any of that although I'm already 18. Not even a camera phone with a mp3 =_=
I.am.not.kidding.

She got me this, instead.
An ipod shuffle which is PINK in colour. (This is an EPIC present)
Which I couldn't stop thanking her :')

ALSO, I got my very first birthday present from LeeWanYing, who bought a sorta-like-shirt-but-look-like-dress at the same time. She passed it to my sister who brought it back from her work place last week.
Seriously, thank youuuu! :)

Grandma, Tua Yee :)
Hello , Hi
Next week is your exam eh?
Yeah.
Good. Go and study
*smiles*
*hesitates* It's OKAYY la. She studied for the whole day already, it's already enough
*make the i didn't studymuchface but oftendaydreaminginsteadface *
I tell you ah, children cannot be forced to study wan. It depends on their intelligence.
Smart or not smart. That's it. We cannot give too much pressure on them wan.
EH!? You're wrong
And right at the same time.
Children must study well to achieve a good result. You're right with the cannot give too much stress, BUT
*stop grandma* Yes, but I don't mind if Khim got bad result, as long as she pass, then it's okay
Ei , you're wrong this time.
We musn't let the children to relax and let them achieved bad results without pushing them just like that
They need to get excellence result in order to get a better job in the future
*nod nod nod > totally agree with grandma*
Otherwise, how can she earn money and give you?
*nod nod nod*
Yeah, right. *gives up*
*wink at me*
*wink at me too*
*yay. women win*

See, Pa ? Grandma and Aunty Hazel my loves and supports are all for you <3
Thank you for believing me and the goodlucks :D
I appreciate it alot :)

PS : My tears drop every time grandma gave me money. :'( I can't hold them from dropping, the transparent droplets just drop automatically.

Lovely Sunday ;)

Hello beloved diarist ;) Bonjour!
Did you know today's a very very very VERY special day to every mummy in the world?
Yes, IT IS! :)
You forget not? I bet you don't.
Okay, lemme ask you,
Did you like GRAB your mum this morning and yell :
Did you? :)
Let me tell you how i celebrated the day with my mom ;)
I was clueless and helpless on what to give and do today SUPPOSINGLY.

Yesterday, i called Sha :)
...
PK : Hello, SHA!
Sha : Hello ;)
PK : What are you going to give your mum tomorrow?
Sha : Ahhh, damn. I don't know. Seriously i don't know.
PK : Haaaaa, me too. Aww man, i'm running out of idea.
Sha : Me too weyh.
PK : I'm planning of bringing her out to have breakfast together with my sis. How bout you?
Sha : Ooooooh, i don't know laaaaa.
Pei Khim : Hahahh, Doing a card?
Sha : Yes, maybe. You?
PK : Yeap. Am gong to do one later .

The conversation went on with another topic, link to another topic until favourite day of the week and finally we ended the call at 10.30pm.
LMAO
....

I did not do any card last night. I planned to study Sejarah. But ended up sleeping on my book. =_=
So i rushed and wake up 7.45 am this morning, felt dizzy and immediately grabbed my materials to start doing and making the mother's day card. Heh, :D
Was staring at the clock for some moment >> to gain ideas :P [ The ticking needle is amazing :P ]
I succeed in making one in 45 minutes. Yay me. Usually, i took one or two hours to do a handmade card. But this year's design were not as nice as last year's :( But mom kinda like it i think.

So THREE ladies > Mom > Sister > Me, went to the very OLDTOWN.
Sister gave my mum HOJB's Garnet,

I don't know how much it costs but it's good for my mum's health, she said.
MEEEEE gave my mum the handmade card :)
[ i didn't take a picture of it, because i was rushing just now]

So mama was happy :)

Me : MA, are you happy today? *inserts smiley*
Mama : Of COURSE! You girls are so obedient :) I'm glad. Thank you daughters :)
My heart smile :) My sister grins shepishly :)

Before Mom went out, i hugged her and kissed her cheek LOUDLY in public. The sound of kiss was REAL loud i tell you. I don't know whether peoples around are staring.
Well, i don't care. I LOVE MY MAMA :)
Last but not least,
MA,
Thank you for everything. Thanks for always being my loyal listener and awesome advicer. I know you care about us.
Sorry for every mistakes that i have done. You're the best mama in my heart.
I heart you!

03 September 2009

Ladies-ladies,

Hi peeps ;)
Last Saturday, which is on 30th of August, Aunty Hazel came to Malaysia. *happy*
Okay, it started like this.. i was having my sweet time surfing the net [as usual =P] and suddenly i got a call from sue yen jiejie [my sister-cousie]. she asked where was i. Hung up puzzle-ly, i was sort of suprised and felt weird. i sensed that she will come on that day, which turned out right ! she came , with aunty Doris [li yee] and my sweetheart aunt, Aunty Hazel.
I was really REALLY suprised and glad that she came to Malaysia. ;D i miss her so so so soo much ;)
So the talks began and we really had a very nice conversation with her. ;)

Photobucket Aunty Hazel is 57 years old [same age as my pa ] believe or not, she still look so young to mee ;)

When the clock strucked at 5 sharp, ladies [me,cousie, aunty hazel, aunty doris, and mum] off-ed to bazaar ramadhan around Kajang Mewah area.
Aunty Hazel saw the delicacies and she just couldn't stop looking at the food. cause you know, at aussie, you hardly find any malay food.
so yeah.
Photobucket SEE? aunt just can't stop eating ! she was attracted to the foood there ;)

Photobucket This is kepak madu solstik [if i am not mistaken] ;) they just look nice, don't they?

Photobucket We shopped ALOT. can see the bags of food right? HAHA :D
we buka puasa DINNER at 6.30 pm! hee. an hour earlier than
the muslims. WEE.
the foooood, i tell you, OH GOD. it was like heavenly GOOD. ;D
i ate nasi kerabu for the first time and i loveee it !
hee ;D
later on, aunty-aunty sekalian were browsing around the garden and was impressed by the mango tree and ciku tree as well ;)
then.. Taichi session began. ;D ;D
aunty Hazel was like teaching mum the correct way to exercise, the best way to keep fit.
sue yen jiejie, me and aunty doris [li yee] were following the steps too.

Photobucket i am the photographer, so i wasn't in ;) we had tonnes of fun and LAUGHTERS :D

The day just gone like that. The sun was resting and here come the moonlight.
Me, sue yen jiejie and Aunty Hazel sat at a corner, discussing bout education, and they were asking me what i wanna be when i grow up
Aunty Hazel : What branch of science you are more to?
Sue Yen jiejie was
looking at me, so do my aunt.
Me: Hmmmm. Maybe Environmental Science.
[actually, i came across a job list book where there were this environmental
scientist and life scientist quite sparked me an interest]
So, i was just
telling them and now im still UNSURE what am i gonna be. still finding ;/
hmmph
Aunty Hazel : Like Joanne [ cousin in aussie, same age, elder than me
one month] , she loves computering. like graphic designer. While elaine [another
cousin in aussie] loves to perform, she can be entertainer. While Julie [cousie
] , is studying nutrition science.
Me : Ohhh. [nodded wisely]
Aunty Hazel
told us about joanne and elaine bout how terrible their english was when they
first imigrated there. they had problems in speaking and probably EVERYTHING.
she taught them and forced them to read English Books [Year Five(in
aussie) Books].

Aunty Hazel : If you want to improve you English, my best
reccomendation is still READING. Reading is the best way i can say. Seriously,
reading improves your vocabulary, you can copy the sentence and apply them in
daily life,[i am totally agree with it] this actually helps you. I always tell
to Joanne and Elaine that if you don’t understand words, you can always refer to
dictionary. [this is another point that i agree]
From the conver, i learnt
alot from Aunt. I suddenly got the inspiration to move forward and to be a
better person.
I am strongly agree with what she have said. Indeed, READING
is the best way.
I admired her, she is very wise. ;) i love talking to her.
making me more wiser ;)
She went back to aussie already and i seriously miss
her very much,
She gave lots of advice and actually cared bout my ylimaf ;)
im grateful to have her as my aunt ;)
There's no word that can describe how happy i am when one of my relative from aussie come to malaysia.
Seriously, that is the happiest of everything. it makes my family united. [it's been long time i didnt feel this way since 2005, thanks aunt ;') ]

Photobucket
FAMILY are always the best ;) [esp maternal family] i lovee them very much.
FAMILY are the happiest gift to me from God.

21 June 2009

The Great's ;)

just came back from a wedding dinner. it was my 1st granduncle's [mum side] son's wedding. [my uncle lol]
reached sue yen [cousin] 's house at 6.30 pm.
then we headed to the restaurant at 7.00pm [quite sharp]
u can hardly see people sitting there because it was such an early hour.
Instead of sitting for nothing, me and cousin round the building while the elderly [aunty and papa] were talking.
I saw my granduncle. He's 70 over years old. seriously, he doesnt look like one lol !
He looked young and handsome, of course! His laughter made us laugh, and he had a cheerful look.
He's way too TALL too! HAHA.. This is the first time i met him. Smile
I was so excited. hee,hee~
the food overall was not bad. Good , i say.
Before chao, we went and greeted GREAT-aunties-uncles.
I was so high spirited to meet them actually. u know, it felt really great when your grandmother's siblings were still around at this time.
Eventhough they were old, but still , it was cool !
I got to know and met (tai yi po, li kim po, sa gu kong , and sa kim po) grand-uncles and grand-aunties that i've never met before.
They are soo0 friendly *smiles*
I won't forget them lol. *pls brain, memorise their face and keep it in your brain ALWAYS*
Talked to them was awesome eventhough there are big gap of age between us!
Just before saying goodbye, i hugged 1st grand-uncle! *ohmygod,ohmygod*
that was the best moment. hell, yess!
hugging an old relatives of yours is FANTASTIC. i mean it. *great-uncle, don't forget me ya. because i won't forget youu! *
after that, i was smiling all the way to the car park. =)

So er, family is truly important to me. no matter how big gap of ages between us, how different trend of the old's and young's, i lovee them. Red heart
When there's a gathering or reunion [of big family, esp mum's side] , the harmonious and cheerful feelings melted me down.
i love that environment, where u and your relatives-cousins-siblings-uncle-aunties-grandparents laugh together, eat together, talk together or even smile to each other!
I'm soo delighted after the wedding.
I'll never miss the chance to interact well with my HUGE family.
That's a promise.
I hope i can go to australia and meet my relatives there SOON. *families, i miss youuu! *
I'll make sure that u will see my BIG FAMILY photos in aussie or in anywhere else one day in my life.
That is my huge dream. and that will be the most-happiest moment ever in my life.

PS I: grandmother [in aussie] is coming to malaysia on september! *jumps in circle*
PS II : my (li gu gong, and si yi po) [2nd greatuncle and 4th grandaunt] had passed away long time ago. may they rest in peace XL
