Motivation, where art thou?

Hellow fellow readers!
Semester 6 nursing student reporting here, feeling demotivated since Saturday (yesterday) and tomorrow (Monday) is gonna arrive. Soon. :O

Nuuuuuuuu, as the blog title speaks it all, motivation seems like it is finding its way to hide at a deepest hole which I can't find and here I am, blogging how I feel right now #yikes

Anyhoo, I am on SNAPCHAT WOOHOOOOOOO NOT. HAHAHAHA butbutbut no lens filters for dear iPad mini though. #sobs
I started my first few posts today with a black background featuring some #nowplaying songs. (inspired by Ah hui's) Hahaha if lens filters exist, I'd have played with it but meh it's not available.... it's alright then. :(
I'll switch to "spam my followers with #nowplaying 10s" playlist. (I bet they're gonna be annoyed, like SO annoyed. LOL)

Here's a thing about snapchat. It is fun, yet it could be very pointless at the same time especially when we are bored. I hope it won't turn out to be a distraction to me because the reason I created snapchat isn't to distract myself, obviously.

By the way, (switching to uni life updates) my research year has begun (hooooraaaaaayyyy NOT). I've chosen a topic, now doing chapter 1, ONLY chapter 1 and I am half dying, like literally #deadfish

The hassles and the trouble of finding and reading many many many articles. Ugh, I salute those who really has passion in research (like my research supervisor!) Whenever I wanted to sigh (so much) that I failed to do this (for instances finding articles) and that, somehow she will brighten up my day with sparkling ideas, beautiful smile and her sparkling enthusiasm. Yeah, basically, she's always so sparkling and it is truly inspiring! (I wish I have her 'sparkling' character :)) )

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaih-wait no. Stop sighing.
Don't let 'research' alone to defeat you so easily, PK. You are stronger and better than you think. Just because research is more 'powerful' and more 'knowledgeable' than you doesn't mean you're gonna give up and sigh all the way, ya?

"Step by step. Know your own pace and do your best in every step you take!"💪💪💪

Yep, that's what I'm gonna tell myself whenever I feel demotivated.

Step
by
step.

Sem break!

Woohoo.
The name of the blog title speaks it all #partyemoji

I have to say, it was such a relief that sem 5 is over. Say goodbye to all the crazy amount of assignments! (insert delighted emoticon here)
As usual, I have already planned out what I want to do this break. Well... those stressful days during exam were really effective to distract you to plan something ahead to keep you excited you know.. hahaha. Anyway, here are some bad habit/activities that I'd like to avoid this coming February.

1) Sleep and wake up at a totally unhealthy hour.
-totally nope nope. I had insane, horrible nights of insomnia last August and I don't want to repeat that kind of life again. It sucks, to the max!

2) Skip breakfast following 1)
-Ugh man, this is a totally no no too right? Needa give some love to my dear organs now.

3) Do nothing
-Of course, you can do nothing at times BUT don't utilise too much of your time to totally 'do nothing' at all. Don't get too relaxed or too lazy. It's not good.

4) Sitting (hunchback posture)
-It's not a nice sight to see two additional lines on my tummy hence (perhaps) regular 'exercise' or daily sit up to replace prolong hunchback posture.

5) Spending too much money.
-Save, save. Save for the future. Save to buy your favourite things!

6) Unproductive days
-Sem break is supposed to make you chill and relax but do not take it for granted. Do some work, make your brain and body active!

That's about it I guess. To be added if I think of more. Right now I gotta sleep, peeps.
Ciao!

Just an instant thought ;

Nowadays, I'm blogging as though as I'm daily tweeting. Bzz

Anyhoo, just a simple confession from yours truly :

I ABSOLUTELY LURVESSS how people can
express themselves so beautifully in words!
:)

I like to read other people's (strangers/people whom I follow for a long time) blogs. Whether it is an emotional/personal/thoughts kind of posts, wordy or not, it doesn't matter. As long as it is the language that I am able to understand, I like to read them all :)
Y'know at times, people do write about emotional blog post yet they are able to express themselves so amazingly by just the usage of some words? It's just like reading a novel!
So long story short, blog post that inspires and story that is full of passion and energy makes me a happy reader!

P/S : I sound like a creepy stalker. lol

Stay calm ;

Sometimes, when things happen.. we tend to act according to our emotions. Very little of us actually stop and think what to do next. Rather, we allow our inner emotions to take control and THAT is bad.

It is because of these mindless acts that make us miss out some of life's most important things and stop appreciating with what we have around us.

Same goes to a rigid mindset that is already there in our brain. When your mind has already decided that, "This place is boring!" or "Oh god, why am I even here because I have nothing to do!".. please, take a deep breath and stay calm. Don't let (your usual) busy life seize you.

When you're at somewhere out of town, take the time to enjoy the scene and interact with people around. Free yourself from time, do nothing at all and relax.
Stop connecting the internet for a day, stop being so concern about people's life through Facebook, stop reporting to twitter of what you are doing and how you are feeling!

Tell yourself that..it is okay to disconnect yourself from the social media for a while.

Enjoy the present, reduce judgments and rants, let go egoism, take a look at the world, and breathe in.

Written by a girl who loves busy life and hates boredom.

Sem break goals :

My university is very efficient. #coughs
Semester 5's timetable has ALREADY arrived on the day I finished my semester 4 exam. #coughscoughs
I have gone through the timetable and it's........ Assignment wise is.......................... (if you understand my dots, you're just awesome). #coughscoughscoughs

Anyhoo, I'm just gonna ignore that, not until the last few days before new semester commence. :)

Sem break has officially begun! Hoorays.
I'm gonna....

-sleep as much as I can. (oh no, not too much cuz' insomnia sucks BIG TIME)
-read as much as I can (I hope I can do this but by judging the number of outing that I'm gonna have, soon. I doubt I can reach 'as much as I can' :( )
-annual hang out with friends (hmm yeah)
-travel (maybe? let's see. *starts counting cash*)
-BASICALLY just have lots of fun chillaxing and doing stress-free activities before good 3 weeks end.

Meanwhile..

"We don't have to be ordinary, make your best mistakes!" :)

Temporary ending ;

Note : SBA is actually part of my semester 4's EOS (end of semester) exam and for the subsequent semesters. Whoop, whoop.

Day one of SBA (Scenario Based Assessment) ;
Nervous? Nope, not really.
Excited? Hmm, nope.
How do you feel? Well let's do this and get this done! It's gonna be long hours, man.

So I was the first person to present my first case study for neurology case. It was quite horrible, especially during my Q&A session. Kinda screwed up a little bit but oh well, first timers. But sigh! Textbook based?? I will seek for further explanation after this.

Day two of SBA ;
I was the last one to present (my renal case) today because I presented first on Wednesday, so it is fair to follow the name list the other way round. To my surprise, I was given good feedback for today's presentation. Perhaps just some slight mistakes here and there that could be improved in the near future. :)
Seriously, can't thank my lecturers more for the extensively specific feedback.
Will take note all of them and perform better in my next SBA!

Then, we were off to have our late lunch dinner at Uncle Jang and talked for hours!

Felt like we have never met each other for a long time especially when we talked about what we had actually done in the previous semesters. #cryandlaughemoji
Honestly speaking, this is the first time I ever finished a spicy meal, with my friends. A complete spicy meal. Lol. Thanks guys for pushing muh limits and for the continuous supply of water XD
Hahaha and I'm not kidding you when I say that my throat almost went to the inflammation stage that night.

But all is well. Thankfully! :)

OHHHHH, I have to tell you guys that I have a new obsession...... :P. Thanks to Ryan Seacrest's post that introduced a new song by Shawn Mendes called Stitches and I am fangirling over him (these few days) by watching all of his music videos and listening to all of his songs.
He's GOOD. Okay, enough said.

Now listen to this!

It's really really good. :D

Here's a shoutout to Shawn Mendes (if you ever, ever read this) :
Your songs are amazing! I have listened to all of your songs and I have to say I love all of 'em!! :) Keep it up with your down to earth and humble personality, you'll go very far in music industry!
And don't stop being YOU. That's what make you unique. Definitely looking forward to more of your music, Shawn. Cheeeeeeeeeeers (I wish I can insert a 'party' or 'firework' emoji but oh wells.)

Fear?

To conquer fear of failing in life,

Firstly : Be brave and bold enough to look and admit your embarrassment/mistakes. When you know where and why you're wrong, you'll start to understand and accept your flaws.

Secondly : Never be ashamed of your mistakes. When you have accepted your imperfections, that's when you will want to try again, and start anew.

Thirdly : Always be ready to make new mistakes. When you're at this point, you're always set for new challenges and new opportunities ahead, ready to commit more mistakes in life.

The more mistakes you make, the more experiences you will get, the better person you are.
Most importantly, don't give in or give up too easily along the process. Enjoy every moment and stay strong until the end.

Lastly : Conquer fear instead of letting it to swallow you up! You gotta man up and face it. If not how would you taste success, satisfaction and a better you?

21 July 2015

Still head over heels ;

Believe or not, I just finished my third book (Jane's Melody by Ryan Winfield) yesterday in less than 12 hours. Sounds a lil' crazy right?
Like the first book, it is pretty suspenseful, plot is not so predictable (which is good), pages per chapter is well organized, so as each hour ticks by, BAM. I'm done with the book #laughsandcrywhatsappemoji

What got me so attracted about the book is not the storyline (well, it's okay, not too dramatic or non realistic), but it's the characters of the male role in the book. It's just too perfect to be true, sometimes #laughsandcrywhatsappemoji It sounds just like a fairytale as I read along. True, that these type of guys still exist in this world (god knows where they are) BUT these type of species with such characteristic is dying, shall I say extinct-ing (if there's such word for that). Maybe I have met one or two in real life, but meh.
It's just too good to be true, really. Unless I meet one again in the near future, or else please excuse me while I get myself overwhelmed by rereading the book again (which I did, this morning hahaha) #doublelaughsandcrywhatsappemoji

"I didn't know you were such a bookworm!", said my senior.
I didn't know myself either. Especially when the okay-it's-time-to-read-a-book kind of mood comes, I'll read and read and keep on  reading like a maniac. *grins

I know I should have concentrate on my studies for my EOS next week but.....L&E (Law and Ethics in short) is just... boring and makes me yawn every.single.time.
No joke.
The terms are enough complicated to make me go dahell(?) one hundred times, at least.
In the meantime I should be preparing for my oral presentations which carry 60% :B
Gah.

While I get nervous about it, let's just stay cool and keep steady til' its arrival, okay? #saysthewisepk #coughs

I'm reading the 4th book now, just fyi.

28 February 2015

Truthfully speaking,

Sem four timetable was very (N).

Seven class tests on April. Do I look like I'm kidding? No.

Am I excited for it? Definitely, absolutely not.

Reflection? ENJOY ZE SEM BREAK TO (ABOVE) THE MAXIMUM YO. Watch all movies you want, read as many novels as you can, sleep as long as you desire, have the most relaxing days with your time occupied with meaningful activities.

Gosh, this hectic schedule reminds me of sem two again.

Oh btw, I've gotten my results yesterday morning. Frustrated for one particular subject which rose my CGPA just a little, causing me not to achieve my self target :(
Overall, I did fine. Shall keep up with the excellency for certain modules, but shalln't underestimate easy-favourite subjects. Lessons learnt, lesson learnt.

I dare not repeat the mistake again.

Work harder this coming sem?
Perhaps. I MUST.

Pray hard for me as well, will you?

I will definitely try my utmost best. That's the promise that I can give

to my self.

16 February 2015

Types of people you see during Valentine's ;

1) Single but silent.
Although they are not in a relationship, they are silent. They are aware and choose to be silent, treating Valentine's day like any other usual day, carrying on with daily activities as though there is nothing special about the day. But deep down, they are either depressed or secretly rejoicing for being where they are now.

2) Loner but...
*posting a photo of themselves with what they are doing or with a pet/stuff/doll/mannequin/whatever and writes a caption : this is how I spend my Valentine's/ this is my valentine date*

OR

*posting a status saying he/she is enjoying the day alone...*

Not sure whether they want to tell the whole world how sad/pathetic/happy they are or just... idk.
Maybe that's how they fulfill the social need of the Maslow's Hierarchy.

3) Attention seekers #1
Single. Sometimes available, sometimes no. Loves to make people think that they are popular (popular here means, they always get chased after by the opposite gender). Flirtatious, unstable, loves posting attention seeking statuses and photos.
One word to sum it all : Annoying.

4) Attention seekers #2
In a relationship. Obviously not available, loves boasting about how 'grand' and lovely the day went and loves to talk about how 'wonderful' the boy/girl is treating the another and how he/she can lives without their special ones in a very dramatic, fancy way.
Basically just..

can't
stop
showing
off
and
boasting.

One word to sum it all again : Annoying.

5) Lovey dovey couple.
Now this is common. Holding hands, receiving flowers/chocolates, having dinner together. Appreciating each other, posted photos but not to that extreme type.
It's pleasant reading statuses/viewing photos posted by them :)

6) Silent but secretly sweet.
Some are pretty silent, not the boasting type. But deep down, they do care and celebrate this special day. They just don't post up and use social platform to showcase how their day went.

/awww moment/

7) Sweet. Just pure diabetes!
Now I love this. He/she is trying/making lots of effort to make her/his another happy. By just one caption, one action, one picture or just one bouquet of flowers although they are far away from each other  (especially for LDR-couples). :))

8) Happy and blessed people.
Well, the title says it all. Generally they are happy people! They treat the day like normal days, they appreciate each other every single day without fail. Maybe just a simple activity like dinner/outing/staying at home cuddling/being with each other can just make them feel blessed and happy.

So which category are you in? :P
Well, there's nothing wrong celebrating V-day YOUR OWN WAY, I'm mean it's your freedom and choice right?

Anyhoo, don't take everything for granted.
Treat everyday like Valentine's day, treat your special someone like a gold each day.
Love musn't be limited for only couples, love can be spread to yourself, friends and families too!

Before you try to love someone else, try to give all the love to yourself first? :)

Just another thought. Hee, happy belated Valentine's day/ Single Awareness day!

Xoxo

#SUGAR ;

My lips like sugar, My lips like sugar.
This candy got you sprung, this candy got you sprung. So call me your sugar, so call me your sugar.

"December 6th 2014, we're going to drive across L.A. and hit every wedding we possibly can. It's gonna be awesome."

Woohoo let's do it!

Have you guys listened to this song?
Maroon 5 actually crashed each wedding by performing live during their weddings like homg!

I quote from the says.com,

"Whether the wedding crashes are staged or authentic, it's still a pretty heartwarming video to watch over and over again."

Well I have to admit that Maroon 5's music videos are pretty weird and never my favourite. THIS one is exceptional.
Now watch!

#SUGAR indeed.
Hands down to the coolest and most heartwarming music video ever!

Be a starter ;

14/1/2015 ;
One of the most anticipated and scariest days in semester three had ended not so perfectly but at least with a comforting smile :)
Not perfect because, imperfections are always there. Flaws are always unavoidable.
Comforting smile because I am glad that my case was pretty straight forward and it wasn't too complicated for me to be panic or to the point that I went completely blank. At least my performance just now was okay, just some minor mistakes here and there.

Be crazily curious, self. Practice everyday, do more NCP, improve!

As usual, I had my sleep-deprived hours on the day before. I cannot sleep for very long hours because it will be too relaxed for me, which sometimes I can forget a lot of things. I know this is terribly unhealthy but I am being serious. Stress liddis works. My eating pattern will be altered as well, from the usual big portion to smaller portion or sometimes I can just settle with some biscuits for dinner.

Enjoying the clouds where ever I go. #justbeingpk

Currently, it's the post-clinical assessment! Woohoo
The next assessment to focus on is "Client teaching" assessment which is happening this Friday. /oh god I have not prepared all my contents for my flip chart oh god/
Anyways, for today's assessment, I am glad to be pinpointed, commented and corrected for a better future. Some compliments really made me happy that day.

 "Otherwise, your communication skills is good. I can see the rapport between you and your patient. I also can see great professionalism in you. Keep that up!" :))

16/1/2015 ;

Spent hours to decorate ze flipchart, spent a sum of money in printing those spine-chilling images, I have only one hope in my heart; that is to be able to deliver the 'message' -consequences of tobacco usage on health to my SP (simulated patient), at least 75% of it.

Well, my client teaching assessment was at 10.30 this morning. I was hellafreakingnervous, also shaky due to the cold air-cond. After the teaching session was done, all my organs yelled "Phew!", a sign of relief! :D

During Q&A session, positive feedback are very generous, tho' I find some are a little bit over-exaggerated, whereas negative feedback given are countable, mostly my mistakes, something that I appreciate that they did point 'em out yet at the same time encourage and teach me another alternatives to make it better next time. /glad/ Needless to say, I am thankful.

Thank you, dear lecturers ;)

............
It's not easy to educate a smoker, I'd say. The rate of being non-compliant is always high.

"They do not see the consequences in the long run. Most of them will be like, oh really? Cancer only. So what?",
said a friend of mine.

That's pretty true. The impact isn't there, it isn't visible until it hits them. I guess that applies to us, as normal human beings isn't it?

We don't know what we have done wrong until something bad happen to us. I guess that's why this pose as a challenge for me to educate patients/anybody who smokes.

Easy to deliver the words, but will the words really will be absorbed deeply to the heart, to the brain to send signal to the rest of the body saying, "Hey, stop smoking. Tobacco smoke is causing harm to all of us." I guess 90% not.
If one has the desire to change, one must have a strong determination to do so, then with constant effort in mind to achieve the target.

And I failed to do that today. I mean, I educate for the sake of educating, I never really consider whether my SP really feel the 'fear' or the 'effect' of tobacco smoke does to our body. Instead, I asked, "Do you understand what I was saying?" expecting a yes or no answer.

I should HAVE asked open ended questions to probe my SP to talk more than I do. But then again, I was given only 15 minutes to teach, I was more worried about the time more than whether patient really do take note on what I have just said. Such a task-oriented person, am I? Battling your task with time at the same time making sure your challenging goal is achieved sucks. I somehow am not a master of that YET. But I will be able to prove it to myself that I can do it one day. Slowly, taking one step at at time,

I WILL
reach the peak,
I WILL
overcome the challenge one day.

A challenge will not be a challenge if I take it as one of my weakness/fear.
A goal will not be achieved if I ever ever tell myself, I cannot do it.

Be a starter, be someone who initiates, who knows you'll be the first one who leads the path and something unexpected will come in return?

Photo taken this morning at one of my friend's house, vista B2- featuring sunrise accompanied with uni's silhouette and balcony's rooftop.

Just like this picture, if you don't have the initiative to wake up early, will you have the chance to enjoy view like this? No. Everyday's view is different - in another word, every opportunity that comes is always different. Seize the moment. Once it's gone, it's never going to be the same again.

So be a starter to change. Change for the good, change for a better world.

HOLLY MOLLY!

Hai everybodeh!

Here's a quick update about myself :

Will update y'all soon! ♥

01 July 2014

Timeline Tuesday ;

3.49pm
It was a busy,  productive Tuesday, similar to any of those days which time passed really quick – it’s like zaaaAaaP. Whoops it’s 2pm already.
Everybody is having their sweet power nap except yours truly who’s currently typing while listening to Don’t Say Goodnight by Hot Chelle Rae (C’mon don’t say goodnight, with the starts in the sky. Let’s wait til’ tomorrow paints the sun across the night~~)

Yesterday was pretty fruitful, also productive. I see improvements in myself – in terms of speed in doing things. Previous weeks, I felt like I was a task-oriented person, doing things just to complete it. Perhaps there are too many documents to be filled and completed as C.I. says. Or there is an obvious shortage of staffs. Or my speed ain’t comparable to experienced staff.n there. Or or.. so many hundreds of possibilities.

I noticed this since the second week and I have to say, I dislike it. Idk why I felt that way but I just dislike doing things like that. It’s like completing your homework so that your teacher is happy.
Personally, I am someone who do things with all my hearts out be it assignments, handmade/DIY stuff, photography and happiness projects. It’s either do it up to your best and with love, or do nothing at all. So I hope this applies to my career and future working life.
I’m not saying this because I’m gonna stop what I’m doing, what I’m studying and quit this course right away. No. Once I have started to walk on this journey, I’m going to continue walking and mastering the skills before my working life starts. It’s not about giving up half way on where you have started but it’s about realizing that things are not right in the beginning that you’re going to fix it, to make it right, so that you won't regret even for a second in the future.

4.09pm
Evening power nap.

5.00pm
“Let’s go!”
We headed to the swimming pool near the management office.
“C’mon PK. It’s the time to overcome your fear! Let’s do this!”, I whispered to my heart.

I have two wonderful teachers aka housemates aka classmates, who are so patient and are willing to teach me to float, to get used to the pool, to paddle, to SWIM (I must highlight that) – freestyle. I am so glad and grateful to have them to be my side overcoming this fear together.

Flashback : 14 years ago, I was 7. I was almost drown at that age, TWICE a day. Oh goodness me, I swear the feeling was so traumatizing. Ever since then, I never go for swimming ever again.. until 2012. I remembered the first time I learnt to ‘float’ (after so long not getting near to the pool) was at TARC (Olympic sized) swimming pool with Jan and Jeesin.  That traumatized memory came alive again. In the end, I just learnt how to jump and walk in the pool and… float.

Fast forward to today!
I managed to overcome 90% of the fear. I can immerse myself in the water for at least 20 secs, paddle better, and do much more things in the pool that I couldn’t have done before this. It was so amazing and I’d love to go to the pool again for more swimming lessons now :D
Thank you girls. Thank you so so much :))

9.33pm
Thoughts : Start off your day with a smile. Try brighten up people’s day by giving them your smile, your encouraging cheers, your motivating words, your helping hands, your positive thoughts, a part of your happiness. Somehow, these will bounce back to you. And the result of all these is satisfaction, the feeling of being accomplished. :) Try it if you haven’t!

9.44pm
As time runs, it’s the 5th week and I started to pick up the pace (the speed, to be precise) and feel the ‘I-don’t-do-things-for-the-sake-of-doing-it” in me now.  (which is good isn’t it?) :)

Yeh, I have to keep this going. I can do this! I can certainly do this :))

16 June 2014

Just another random, boring, weekly article ;

Hi!
Just another weekly blogpost from mehh :)
This (past one) week was the first week we worked in the afternoon……til’ night. After lunch, pack, go! work, TPR, bedmaking, perineal care, oxygen  therapy, removing venofix, wound dressing, repeat and BOOM. It’s 9pm. Bathe. Sleep.
The next day : REPEAT.

Okay, sorry for the very summarized routine in just a few words but yeah, that’s what we basically did every day, brushing up our skills as we practiced.
That Friday, we worked in the morning, went back home and cleaned ourselves to get ready to the…………….. BEACH! Babeh BEACH!
(Too bad I could NOT upload any photos here (even to Flickr! :( )to show you guys the beach that we went because the internet connection here is slow (like snail) and sucks (most of the time) )
I did upload those photos up to instagram, some to Facebook. So I guess do check it our yourself at the places  I just mentioned? :)

I’ll upload ze photos here, perhaps after my EOS – end of August/early September to be precise. Heh so to those who are anticipating (perhaps there’s no one), be very very patient :)
Right now, just BEAR WITH ME with all these words, typing from all my heart, lungs, liver, stomach, intestine out.  Hees, that’s a little bit exaggerating.

Okay back to the topic about BEACH, we went to look for the one recommended by staff nurses and we FOUND(!) the Petronas petrol station that they were saying – okay no. It’s the beach opposite the petrol station to be exact. XD
Haha it’s called the Pantai Saujana (or famously known as Pantai Batu Empat), Port Dickson! Yes they are right, the beach – the surroundings, the sand (SO HOT AND FINE!), the seaside (not to say perfect clean but it’s better than the dirty beach I went last year), the trees, the windy (yet sunny) weather, and the facilities are all…. I shall give 7 out of 10 marks  :)

Ah, how I could just upload a photo here and let you all judge!

After the sand writing moments, individual photo taking sessions, I kind of escaped from the group and strolled alone to the other side of the beach while observing the families spending time together, kids running here and there..  Such a joyful moment . It actually reminds me of the moment I had together with my extended families back to manymanymanymany ( I guess about 14) years ago at some beach, also at Port Dickson. I miss the apartment my father used to have here, where we always take the chance to have a short getaway during school holidays. But now it’s no longer belong to Papa. Papa sold it to somebody due to some financial issue he had last time. Oh well, memories! :)

After the short walk, I started to walk towards the ice-cream stall nearby the shades of the trees to have something cool, thanks to the ‘ice-cream bell’, which was ringing non-stop that attracted my attention so much especially under this sunny, sweaty weather. So while we were waiting for the sun to set, we chatted, joked, ate cucumbers ( yeah that’s like a huge thing that I need to mention here), and the photo shooting session started again when the sun started to dissolve slowly :)

Then, we headed to P.D. Waterfront (our usual dinner spot) to pack our dinner! Teehee, it was a beautiful day spent with my girls. :))
On the other note, my Facebook timeline is filled with so many news about Food Culture Week presentation by my ND (Nutrition & Dietetics) friends, selling of T-shirts, Chariofare activities going on and also seniors’ graduation ceremony, etc.  Just look at what I’ve missed in just two weeks while I’m away from uni :O
My uni’s so happening with events right? Haha

Anyway, in every thing that I miss out, there’s always something good that comes to me, something that is already starting to shape me to be a competent health care provider.
Things I must see improvement in myself within the next few weeks :
  •         Grab and hold the opportunities. BE SMART.
  •          Do NOT afraid. Stools, blood, pain, hurt. BE BRAVE.
  •          EMPATHY, not sympathy. BE UNDERSTANDING.
  •         Always think on patient’s point of view. BE GRATEFUL.

It seems like I have too much free time to actually blog right now, haha. Should have utilized this time to study hard for EOS exam, since I’ve received a piece of not so good news about my recent Pathophysiology class test results. *gulps

Well, let’s see how it goes. Till then! :D

"So, how are you?"

"I'm busily good. As you can tell by my absence here, you know how busy I am coping with the new semester. Let me tell you some of what I've done for the past three weeks in a list ;
  • I attended as a 'photographer' (not a main, just a learner) to IMU Ball 2014 at Royale Chulan, BB, K.L.
  • I have learnt a lot of new things (compared to sem one ). So many procedures to know and master, and subjects like Pharmaco and Patho are scary yet so interesting!
  • Hmmmm what else? Oh. Did I tell you that my timetable for this semester is shitty packed like everyday class starts at 8 and ends at 5 or 6 with only 45 minutes of lunch break in between? :O It's tiring, of course. But looks like I'm getting used to it so yeah. No more rants for now!
  • Speaking of morning classes, I've been late to classes for 6 times already :( SIGHSTUPIDKTMSIGH.
  • And when I mention about KTM, I didn't know the early morning train is that bad. I'll blog about it if it hits my boiling point again.
  • On a happy note, I'm finally a part of Infinity Milers :D
  • On another happy note, I got my first stethoscope! (check the photo at instagram if you haven't) :D
And current classmates count : 10.

That's all about my current life I guess. Busy-hectic-crazy-tiring-stressful. Ughh, I KNOW I CAN DO THIS. Just have to manage my time well between studies and non-studies-activities.

Lemme ask you back, how are YOU doing? :) "

P/S : Blog's playlist is updated! :D

Counting stars ;

Picture from ;

Weather has been shifting from breezy to sunny (with the increasing temperature) lately.
The sky, is nonetheless beautiful, especially at night. Up til' now, last night was the second time I spotted many stars twinkling, winking at its best at human beings on Earth :P I was excited to see such unusual sight after such a long time of cloudy-moody sky (I seriously couldn't recall when was the last time I saw this amount of stars), it's time for the sky to be completely clear from clouds and filled with moon and stars! :>

Wipe your laptop/desktop screen, they are not dust.
They are real stars! Le phone could only capture the brightest stars (of course this wasn't snapped in one shot, it's a collage of a few shots, merged into one ) Through my naked eyes, the stars on the bottom left (the one in a rectangle box) were the most sparkling, big, and best twinkling stars among all! However from your view, they look the same like the rest don't they?
Recorded (through observation) : 36 stars at home, 25 stars in front of the KTM. I found the Crux constellations!! :D /that excited face/
Reality : There are more stars, unseen, but still twinkling of course :)
The view of the night was even awesomer with planes passing by through the stars, making it looks like a bunch of meteors.

Too bad that my camera couldn't snap a photo of the stars at all unless I have a tripod -even resting it on a bench isn't good enough :(
But meh meh, that (the photo)'s the best my phone could snap.
Here's another achievement unlock - challenge phone camera's limitations in snapping starry sky :D
.....

If you noticed the blog title, I put "Counting Stars". Ever thought of asking why?

Haha nevermind, lemme tell you ;
Because it was what I did the moment I saw a clear sky with lots of  tiny lights winking at me /self laughs/
I'm sure the people at Kajang KTM bus stop were curious looking at me tilting and rotating my head while pointing and counting, then repeat again, lol. And once I got back home, after my dinner, I went to my garden, looked up and started counting again. XD

Sounds so childish right?
Idk why, it's just my favourite thing to do. Admiring the sky -no matter day or night, getting hyped up all about it and eventually I'll bring out my camera/phone to capture the moment I enjoy.
Well that's just me :)

And I just had my Human Bio exam yesterday afternoon, bro said
"You've tried your best. Take a break!"

That's the most rewarding advice I've ever heard from him! #woohoo
So that's what I did. Relaxed myself by doing silly things that I love, hehe.

Oh anyway, after some short hiatus from the hectic-ness of my life (everybody knows that), this is my official first blogpost of the year!
HAPPY 2014, peeeeeople!

(Hope I'm not too late to wish you all this, although the calendar is already at the second month of the year, heh)
As usual, NYR and MORE updates are gonna be in the next post.
Wonder what NYR is?

Stay

tuned!
