Growing up ;

What does it feels like growing up?

Sucks, challenging yet exciting/thrilling at the same time. But in my case, exciting > sucks. Let's talk about the suck-ish part, shall we?

The not so nice things about growing up is as you age, you will recognize who your true friends are (after you have been friending with them for years). You will get to see their true colours (the not so fancy side) and things changes. There will be countless broken promises and you'll realize that some people are meant to stay only temporarily in your life (to deliver you some life lessons), not a lifetime.
Also, you will get to see the more of the ugly side of the society, you will get to see the reality of the world more clearly and in a broader understanding. Not to mention, you will meet all sorts of human beings : judgmental, busybody, sarcastic, hypocrite, immature, irresponsible, rude, cruel, and heartless people.
You will often question yourself a thousand millions of why(s) and still don't get the reason until you reach a certain stage.

...
As your age rises, it means that you have to be aware that your sense of responsibility increases, too. No more depending on parents, no more depending on whoever to get things done and some times even when you are helpless, you have to settle everything by yourself.

You have to go through several interviews to secure a scholarship/job, go through several online applications for your future studies and you have to go through all kinds of documents/typing/beautifying your CV/etc to get the things that you want for your future. You also have to be ready to receive rejections and be prepared with back ups and what not!

Are you scared now?
That's the challenging part of growing up as a person I guess.

Well on a positive note, as you grow another year (I refuse to use older) awesomer, you will discover something new about yourself in every situation/person you meet. You will be lost manymanymanymanymany uncountable times, you will be dissolved in different kinds of problem and in the end, you will somehow find a solution to the problem. From there, you will know where are you and where do you stand (your ability and capacity, in another word).

If you are lost, you will eventually find yourself no matter how many uncountable times you are lost or confused.
Trust me, the feelings are just wonderful.
And then as you move along, you start to have a collection of your favourite things, values and style, deleting the not so likeable things and eliminating the style that doesn't define yourself as a person.
You will attempt a lot of things to test where do you stand in the society, you will experience many different types of 'dating' world/ observing others' to identify what kind of other half you'd like to have in life, and many many more.

"You also give yourself the opportunity for introspective & adventurous experiences of singledom, allowing you to learn more about yourself"

Besides, as you are more knowledgable, you will know more about your rights and will start to protect yourself from those who are trying to violate or harm your rights. You'll start to manage things alone, living an independent life, having your own financial account, spending what you earned, not depending on anybody anymore.

Basically, you stand on both of your feet.

...
When I was twelve, I told myself, "Live life to the fullest, self! You only go through form 1, 2, 3 once! Enjoy to the max before PMR"

When I was fifteen, I said, "Time flies. Enjoy every moment before high school ends!"

When I was eighteen, I thought, "Hey, there is only one and a half year at college. Make everyday counts!"

When I was twenty, I announced, "Welcome to adulthood! You're officially a part of the twenties club! Live everyday as though as it is your last. Especially before 23!"

Because I solely think that when I turn 23 later, I am officially old.

Now, it has already passed 12.00 am and I am officially 23? Nope not yet. I will be officially 23 years old 8 hours later, to be exact, following the reported time at my birth cert.

"your 20s are a crucial time period that allow you to explore who you really are and what you want."

Well I don't know why I have such mindset that 23 is old 23 is old. Maybe it's because of the odd number, which tells me that 23 is no longer a junior age compared to 22, 21 or 20 which are like.. pure innocent young adult
It is just like turning 13 ten years ago. A transition from primary school student to secondary student. Uniform changes, puberty strikes, yada yada.

Let's be realistic.
Being 23 means there is a greater responsibility, the beginning of my research year (oh my god), a far more matured thoughts, a stronger values (patience, kindness, consistency,  endurance, honesty, optimism), and more attempts in stepping out of comfort zones.
I guess I should stop having the 23 is old kind of mentality because it is not good! At all. It affects my thoughts, my perceptions, most importantly, my oomph!

Irregardless what age we are, it is just a number. Live well and enjoy ever process as the clock ticks. Yes, you're gonna have transformation in a lot of things - your body, your mind and everything else, it's still a part of life, isn't it?

Looking back, my past 22 years of life have been nothing but amazing with all kinds of bittersweet moments that I am truly thankful for, which makes me who I am today. :)

...
So.. without hesitation it's time to say....

)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SELF!

Be the best version of yourself every single day, loving and living life to the fullest! Spread love, kindness and positivity! Must not forget to be always be humble and be grateful no matter what circumstances. Don't stop learning and discovering yourself, be proud of each step you take towards where you are heading ;)

P/S : Thank YOU all wonderful human beings who have been part of my life, still staying in my life and those in the future who's gonna appear in my life to shape me/mould me to a better person. I love you all to the moon and back.
PP/S : Thank you mama for having me in your tummy in a transverse position, making you having a hard time which then you had to go through C-sec to welcome me.. I am truly touched by your patience and endurance! Thank you :')
PPP/S : Thank you to Papa's sperm for fertilizing mama's ovum from the (R) ovary to produce such a cute, chubby child like me :P Hahaha #perasantime well long story short, thanks to you both!
PP/S : Such a weird birthday post, I know! Hahaha anyways, cheerio!

26 March 2014

What Happened in Sem One?

Pretty straight forward isn't it?
Here's what  :)

1)  I've spoken about orientations and if you noticed I've blogged more than nowadays back in THOSE good good days. Hahaha well if you wanna read again, here's link [1] and link [2].

2)  Basically January was a month which I called stressfully busy month because I had three class tests on two different days, and on one of the days itself, I went to sent my buddy off with another buddy at LCCT. Here's a picture of it :)

Coincidentally met Ah Thong and Ah Lai at the airport! (Most left and second from left)

Jan, I know I've said this, still wanna say it again : I love your shoes berry much heee :3

3)  Did participate in photography event for Foundation In Science orientation :D  Had loaddddds of fun with ze photogs as usual :D and street photography! (previous post :D )

4)  ALSO, I went for a meetup session with fellow seniors from NU112, NU111 and NU110 with only Karen and Hadiza. The rest (of my classmates) were not able to turn up due to some reasons.
That night was great! We had a so called sharing-bonding session by having some 'ice-breaking' and 'truth-or-dare' activities, lol. It was meaningful and I'm glad to have met them! <3

5)  Then at the end of the month of January, our Open Ward session officially started :B
It was better than I expected! I've learnt so much about the real 'interviewing' skills and also forming nursing diagnosis from various situations. A bundle of thanks to all the dedicated clinical tutors and lecturers who organised these activities. :))

6)  During the open ward session which was held for two weeks, I had my presentations (assessments) for Professionalism and Interpersonal Skills and Nursing Framework (subjects). I kind of presented well for the first one, but screwed up the latter one. To my surprise, I was praised for the slides I prepared for the second presentation and I was even told to send a copy of the slides I prepared. What I can say somemore, I'm just happy and thankful :)

7)  After CNY, the first EOS (end of semester) exam I took was Human Biology (subject). I was so scared because I didn't finish studying. Yes, I admit that fact. I was thinking, "If the exam is gonna be like the formative assessment uploaded online, I'm gonna cry, very very hard". However the paper wasn't as tough as I expected! 8D I was glad actually, and I prayed everyday that I could please at least get a B, lol.
Oh! I haven't not talked about class tests that I went through, have I? Okay first thing first. Psycho test was the worst (most ridiculous and difficult) , followed by Microbio. Socio was alright, I was perfectly confident that I can score for that paper.. ONLY. (lol) Biochem on the other hand wasn't very tough but the scoring part was a no joke thing. So all I did was doing my extremely best in my assignments to top up the marks, especially for Psychology.
Ah, let's just put the tests topic aside. I'll come back to the EOS exam later.

8)  Clinical posting!
I must say, I've learnt the most (things that I don't learn in uni) during these two weeks at Tung Shin Hospital :)) I've personally observed how endoscopy works, how bed sores and real, bad wounds look like, happy, friendly, sad, grumpy patients, how the staff nurses work together, how staff nurses and the doctor interacted with each other, and so much more!
Our objective for this semester was to enhance the communication (interviewing) skills with patients by carrying out assessment and history taking. I've personally talked to patients (of both gender) in English, Malay, Chinese, even Hokkien! (so proud of this, lol) From a beginner who's afraid of asking sensitive questions and awkward situations, I've now became a better communicator who now knows how to link one question to another. This is all thanks to my friends, and tutors who have guided me from day 1 til the last day of clinical posting :))

My grands senior, Christine once told me that, "The time when you can learn and have fun the most is during your clinical postings." I have to agree with that statement ;)
A big thank you to our dear clinical instructors once again, for constantly pushing yet encouraging us to do our very best in performing all tasks, and truth be told, it helps a lot in our clinical assessments! Overall, our lecturers commented that we've done a real good job (not sure whether it is true) but oh well we got praised for our continuous hard work :D

The most satisfying outcome I've got from this posting was to be able see patients recovering one by one and hear staff nurses said, this patient is discharged. :)) Some of them are really kind and willing to be interviewed by us multiple times. They also thoughtfully wished us best for our assessments and also our nursing journey. :>
I must admit that.. after so many sharing sessions with classmates and tutors, I started to like this profession and hopefully in years to come, my like will change to love.

Thanks to dear classmates for the wonderful start and may all of us do this together until semester 8! (finger cross and group hugs)

Being the usual grateful me, I will treasure this experience and trudge on. :)
See you all again next semester, dear clinical tutors!

9) Birthday celebrations!
First we celebrated Nargis's 19th on Jan :

and then Pauline's 21st on the month after:

Very glad that all the surprise went perfectly well! :'> Hope you love the video, Pauline! SURPRISEEE once again :D

10)  Study week began shortly after a month of practical session. It was hella stressful, needless to say. Went back to uni every day for tutorial sessions and also self-studies. I was happy that I completed most of the revision, but not good enough to re-revise again for the second time.

11) The week after was EOS (end of semester) Sociology presentation and exam. Presentation was absolutely great with my teammates, Pauline and Priscilla. Special thank you to Pauline for brushing up my presentation skills by keep tellling me 'you can do it, just do it!' and repeat that again and again. :D
No doubt speaking, that week was the killer, we were all nervous because we didn't know what it will come out and phew! 4 days of crazy days just passed like that, and I'd like to announce that, Biochem was the toughest paper among all. (claps claps claps)
Deep down, I was praying so hard that I could pass, lol.

12)  And there you go my sem break! EH WAIT no, not yet. I had MUET exam a day after my EOS exam grrrr. I hope I did well for listening and reading. Writing part was.... heh. Speaking was....... okay I guess :B Just hope that I'll score a band three. Band three is enough :B

13)  Jacuzzi outing with ze ladies!
Just the day I had my last paper, the day before MUET exam, Pauline and I went over to Shaf's house for a mini little party (jacuzzi session together-gether! hahaha)

We had lots of fun! Thank you Shaf for such a wonderful day at your house :D
In the meantime, we made a 'cover' (sort of), a lip-sync video for Counting Stars by One Republic! Hahahaha we definitely had a great time laughing and singing like crazehh. Nurses-tonix FTW!
Anyway, can't wait for the next lip-sync cover :P HEHE

14)  Initially we had plans to go to Penang during our sem break but due to the bad weather (haze, coughs) we cancelled the thoughts :( Ugh! Moving on, SO IN THE END, I just stay at home, rotting wonderfully. 10-12 hours of sleep daily, homecooked food, get to hug pillow from day til night - how relaxingly awesome is that? Hahaha - I know it is but it sounds so lifeless at the same time!

15) 19 MARCH 2014 : Results day.
The day I felt nothing but was busy with handmade gifts instead. Actually I felt something, just 5 minutes before 5 pm (the time when the results was released), I hyperventilated for a while. That's all. (lol)
I sounded confident huh! #macamyestapibukan I waited a few minutes, to calm myself down before I faced my results. Whether it was a P or F, lantak lah!

JENG JENG JENG.....
(opened ze envelope)

I'm just blessed! That's all I wanna say :')

16) Okay, ignore the drama. Back to reality. (muka serious)
Just 12 hours ago, a new timetable has already appeared on e-learning portal. (GREAT. I mean, FINALLY). Checked, looked through. One word -> sh*t. Early classes (as early as 8am) everyday, long hours of studies, one month (April) of crazy study follow by tests on May (every week.. good god :B ) and posting starts on June. (jaw drop immediately) I can see that semester two is gonna be so short and quick! So scary, so hectic, so challenging! :B

17) Aye aye, I'm not gonna have this kind of perfectly chillax-ing holidays like this again I guess. SO IMMA ENJOY IT TO THE FULLEST! SLEEP TO THE FULLEST, PLAY TO THE FULLEST, DO WHAT I LOVE TO DO TO THE FULLEST! Okay, caption unlock. Hahaha, I'm excited like that.

18) Anyway, it's point number eighteen already. Hehe thanks for even bother to read this post. And before I go, just wanna say, I've been listening to American Author's album 'Oh, What A Life!' for a week, go go listen too! It's super duper #oomph I gurantee :D

30 December 2013

Dear Babi H,

As promised, this is a special blogpost for you.
A month ago, you were having your exam at a little place called 'Davangere', while I was busy having a community project at Ti-ratana houses, Sri Petaling and another community project for old folks (My Father's Home) at somewhere near the Curve in the evening. It has been a fruitful day for me, what about you?
I felt a pang of guilty for not making an official status/post for you during your birthday. But I didn't have the time to be in contact with dear internet that day, so I didn't manage to post anything special for you :(
Butbutbut I did wish you on whatsapp didn't I? :P Hehehehe

So HERE I am, after one solid month, I'm writing something about you, for you.

Here's a little description about this Babi H. Don't float ok. :P
SHE has been a friend of mine since 2011, still is my friend, my buddy even to be exact.
Been through up and down with her, she is the one who always keeps me a company, my one and only wise adviser when I was in need of help back in college times.
This babi, has 500% of confidence in herself. 500% of being what? Of being perasan.
Hahahahaha okay joke.
She has this aura of being really confident- of being a leader- of saying yes to impossibilities (I mean REAL impossibilities- she will still say YES. Sometimes, it's about the wrong fact- she will still say a fatty, shamelessly YES. lol Can't help with it, just have to keep nodding when she said YES. XD Hahaha

She gives people 'hope' in some way, don't ask me how.. she just did.
If you talk to her, she might not give you the best words you'd love to listen or to feel comforted, but what she said is always true, a reflection of reality and there's always a wise perception in every word she said.
She is a terribly good emotion controller. I don't know how she reacts/behave in front of other friends of hers, at least she appears to be that kind of person to me.. which is something I should learn from her. :)
Another point to note is that she's damn cheekily lovable (especially by a lot of guys) lololol. What I meant by that was, she's easily likeable by the opposite sex. :P
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that...
this babi is a loud person. Very often when I'm in uni by myself, laughing at something really funny, I will thought of her and miss the laughing moments with her back in those days at Tarc.
Other than that, she's a real good friend to me, whom I appreciate a lot. Like real damn a lot.
Cannot afford to miss someone like her in my life.
Okay, babi if you're reading this all these sound cheesy but they all come truthfully from my brain, lungs, heart and stomach ok.

.....
As a friend/buddy in return, I'm always the fail one when it comes to comforting. When she needs my advice, I always give the best words/thoughts I could thought of as I can but I know, most of the time, it didn't help to cheer her up at all. So fail, right.
So the least I could do is to always offer her my free ears. :)

Although I might not be one of the best person to lift your mood up when you're down, ALWAYS remember that I'm there to listen, to be there, to help if you need yeah! :))
And ALWAYS remember that I'm the most awesome, shamelessly fabulous babi of yours (forget about babi L kay) :P
Last but not least, I just wanna wish you publicly, here at my blog...

that
you
have
finally
grown
up (a year older) so
HAPPY belated 20TH BIRTHDAY BABI!!!!

Photo : Babi H back then.

Hehehehe.
I think that is NOT cute enough tho'.

This version of YOU
now is somehow cuter. :P

Hahahahahahahahah
Okay, I know you love me so don't kill me! BYELOVEYOULOTSBYE!

With love,
Babi K.

24 December 2013

V.i.v.i.a.n.'.s.2.0.t.h.

WHO AM I???
V.P!! (Vice president)
/flips hair/

This girl (photo) has been in my life since I was 4? 5? 6? We didn't grow up together as neighbour/cousin/relative, but we did grow up together as a very close friend, since we were in kindergarten.
Here,
introducing you my childhood close friend,

Cheng Ee Mun!! (CEM)

-14 years of friendship and still counting! :')

On the 14th of December, which was 10 days ago.. I was invited by Eemun to her advanced-birthday-party at her house! Days before, I kind of scratched my head of what to buy for her as birthday gifts, because I've not met up with her for a year, so I don't really know what she needs, what she lacks of, and what she likes (thus far). But heh, thanks to my reliable sources, I managed to get the gifts by solo-hunting one fine day at somewhere I can't reveal. :P

Since it's a birthday party, of course it must come up with a theme. I've asked and she said,
"Beach day".

lol.
Thought of an outfit, and what to match with hence I went in that 'beach'-like outfit.
Hahaha anyway,

here are some pictures and I'll let them do the talking!

Yumyumyum!
It was raining that Saturday, so the call for this 'lok-lok' man and the food (lok-lok) was just PERRRRFECT! -to warm ourselves up, etc. :D

About 7pm, KP (Kahpei), JY (Jingyi), LL (Lilen) arrived with a super huge handmade card for dear Eemun. And then there was a shoutout from somebody : "Here she is! KP's here! The legendary KP that we always hear of IS HERE!" (followed by some noises)

HAHAHA. KP was surprised, obviously not knowing what was happening. XD
.....

After the filling buffet dinner, we (Convent girls) sort of like had an 'ice-breaking' session with Eemun's uni friends (all from Nottingham). They (as EM said) are a bunch of friendly people! - who make jokes, who talk and laugh a lot, haha. Well if you ask me to repeat their names again by memory, I'm sorry but I could only remember some. Particularly those with nicknames/English names. XD

Group shot of us! :D

Oh, meet my new friend Menglu (who is KP and EM's college mate)!
(the one who sit between KP and JY) :D

If Wanying didn't mention, I didn't realise the shape of the cake actually looks like a key! lol
Note : The cake is super delicious. Its texture was soft and spongy, the cream wasn't too sweet. Just nice for all our tastebuds. :>

A very thoughtful handmade card by KP, JY, LL, HL (Hanli) and CL (Cheeling). :))

EM's presents :D TRY TO SPOT MY GIFT FOR HER.
Hint : The smallest among all *points points

Pretty, pretty birthday girl :D

I went back home at about 11pm, hence I didn't get to join the 'open-gifts-session' with EM and the rest. I'm sure that she had a blast revealing each and every gift that all her friends had bought for her (cuz' photos at fb said it all) :D

(Most of the photos above are taken by JingYi and Iris Kuek) :)

FAST FAST FORWARD!
Today,
A planned lunch was set by WY (wanying) and CL (Cheeling), somewhere at Sri Petaling. EM (Eemun) decided to tag along. /yay/
I was at uni this morning, doing my oh-so-confused-assignment, under the veryvery cold environment. :B Yeah, the collab study area/the library is famous with its cold condition ESPECIALLY when there's lesser people. There were lesser people at uni today due to the cold rainy morning, I assume. Everybodeh just wanna get lazeh and stay on bed don't they! Hahaha how I wish I could cuddle with muhh warm blanket but I cannot T_T Assignment comes first :'(

Anyhoo, skip the drama part. They (le ladies) practically arrived at about 1++, I was worried that I might bring them to the wrong direction because personally, I am not familiar with the road nearby as well as the direction to the area which is rich in FOOD at Sri Petaling. THANKFULLY, EM knows the way, hence she was the one directing all the way :P HEHEHE LUCKY US!

We've decided to give it a try at Padi House (the famous restaurant which I've known from a lot of people). Indeed, the restaurant was CROWDED with people during lunch hour. We've waited for quite a while before we could rest our feet upon at least 15 minutes of standing. By the time we had our seats, it was already 1.30pm and the crowd was getting lesser and lesser.
.....

We had our lunch, TALKED, ordered snacks, TALKED, had pots of tea, TALKED, laugh
ed, TALKED, shared experiences (of what happened in the past and current stages in life), gossiped (a little), predicted our 'future' (a little), basically we just keep on talking as the clock kept on ticking until almost 5pm.
Hahaha, the power of talking which can kill the time in a blink!
I appreciate all these little talk though, as we progress in our lives, heading to our goals/dream careers, it's interesting to catch up and update ourselves with respective stories eventhough we're studying at different institutions :D

(Note : CL, do not forget and randomly misuse the 'words' that we've told you about :P )

And then we had a 'mini' celebration with EM again this evening since it is her OFFICIAL birthday today :D

Weeeee,
HAPPY (officially) 20TH BIRTHDAY, CEM!!

Before this, you appeared to be a little bit introvert to me, but seeing you grow as a person, physically, mentally and spiritually, you're so different, matured and active now (in uni life especially)!

I've to say,
I'M SO PROUD OF YOU! :D
So proud of the positive changes, and no longer the once upon a time shyshyintrovert CEM!
But one thing that doesn't change is....

your loud (high amplitude + high frequency) voice when you scream/laugh in front of your close acquaintances..

HAHAHA afraid not, it's not a bad thing at all. That's what makes you, YOU!
I guess if you want to know what I'll miss you the most when you fly to UK next year, that would be your crazy-laughter-shriek-of-yours :P
NEWAY, I don't wanna be so long-winded here. Happy Christmas and HAPPY BIRTHDAY ONCE AGAIN! <3

Hopefully the next time we meet, we'll share MORE juicy, extraordinary stories/gossips/talks.
Hehehe see y'all soon!

Lovelove!

14 February 2013

The month of love ;

So it's the 14th of February, the month of love, the month of celebration.
Hello all! (:

How are you guys been doing lately?
Speaking of my birthday 4 days ago, I'm happy to celebrate this special occasion together with family at home. It was very peaceful, which was exactly what I really wanted. Thank you god, once again for listening to my secret wish. I hope you'll realise my wishlists that I murmured to you before I blew the candles. Albeit whispered too quickly and maybe it was unclear, I hope that you'll hear what I said.

Yesterday, I met up with a close friend at Kajang's Metro Point. :) It was a brief catch up, sitting and talking about life and future. Being the sweety pie, she treated me a slice of cheese cake (crapIforgotthename). Thank you, Carmen. It's nice and hope we'll be able to meet more often in our near future! :) :)

Also, I'd like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you who sent me birthday wishes via facebook, twitter, instagram, and text messages. Thank you for the heartwarming phone calls, thank you for the angpows (parents), thank you for the clothes and a bag (sister), thank you for the gift (Wanying), thank you for the blogpost (Wan Ying), thank you for the sweet birthday song -instrumental version (dear you) , thank you for the handwritten thoughts, thank you for everything, loved ones. :) It wasn't as grand as what I had last year, but I am blessed. :)

CNY thus far is fine. Better than last year, I think. Relatives tend to come to my house more often to have dinner with us since my home only left me and my parents. At least, it's far lovelier than last year's. :)
Recently,
Facebook timeline has surprised me with many positive news, from friends well mostly my juniors.
Some married, some engaged, where else some have found themselves a human being of their opposite sex.
How incredible to see them feeling loved one by one. :)

But well, the concept of love isn't as easily understandable as one can thought. It can be a verb or a noun. It's not just merely about feelings and it's definitely different from another term called infatuation.
Make sure he/she is the one whom you can be with in the future, try to understand and get to know each other before hand, it's the best that you could find somebody who has similar personal interests, someone whom you can go along well without much complications, someone who loves you not just your face, your appearance but also your soul, beauty, flaws and your heart. :)

To those little girls/boys who are a lot younger than me, don't be too rush into love yet. Do not fall in love because your friends did. Fall in love when you're ready, not when you're lonely, yeah?
Make things clear, priortize and do not let this affect your relationship between family, your self esteem or perhaps your own personal education. A lot of HK, Taiwanese or Korean dramas are creating a lot of dreamers among the young generations (well I'm included as well, but that was years ago :P ) but you guys must know, some of those "grand romantic proposal/scenes" only happened in "dramas". If you expect those "dramas" to happen in real life, it's 101%ly rare. Unless you're bloody bloody rich. Hahaha so dream on, fellow dreamers!
On a brighter note, it's always nice to daydream the things that you wish to happen sometimes. It feels best when it really come true one day. :)

If you're asking me what I was doing during my Valentines, I'll say I read, I blogged, I had family time, I slept, I doodled, I instagram-ed, I uploaded photos, and I made a video.
What video you ask? That's for a mystery someone to find out. :)

After 20 years living on this Earth, I believe in fate and destiny. Do you?

10 February 2013

Birthday wish ;

Don't expect anything from anyone. :)

xx

09 February 2013

Last teen,

26 February 2012

Every ending has a new beginning ;

This photo did not startle you, I hope?

Oh HEYYYYYY readers!

You know this is my belated-pending-delayed post.
right?

RIGHT?

:P

This will be another long post, I would love to warn you.
If you're bored, you may read.
If not, you know what to do. :P

9 FEBRUARY

Had a pre-big-day celebration with ze classmates at Festival City, situated at Genting Kelang, which is not far away from college if you take a RapidKL bus. Approximately 10 minutes, at least?
For sure, we didn't plan to celebrate my birthday alone (totally no-no) but it was a combined birthday celebration for January-February-March babies-birthday-people (in our class).

Since it was the last day of our test four, everyone eventually agreed to have dinner together to ..

relax,
I suppose?

Gees. Out of 27 human beings in my class, 18 were present! Not full but half of the population came! :)
So we left CITC to the restaurant as a small group by RapidKL bus as some of them had already reached there before us. Eighteen of us were separated into two long tables, waiting for the arrival of our food (respective set of steamboat) hungrily. While eating, we (my row of table) talked-so-loud like crazehh.

We joked.
We giggled.
We laughed randomly.
We teased each other.
We almost screamed!
xD

On the other way round, the another row of my classmates were happily enjoying their meal (a little bit too quiet) with only some soft talk unlike US? xD
Mehh.
Although we were the moist noisy group, we hade fun, nonetheless! :) Fun-talking-laughing-joking-session we had there. :]

Left : The 19th year old people! :)
Right :  (Khim, Shinyee, Siewhui) :)

9 FEBRUARY
Two hours before 12am
1) Jotting down things that people have done for me. :)
2) Listening to country songs
3) Refreshing back memories of being an 8teen.
4) Received the FIRSSSSST birthday wish from Aussie cousin > JUSTINE! :D
5) Roommate bought me a small green-tea-cake. :O (omg, thank you!)
 6) Mama-Jiejie called at 11.58am :O

10 FEBRUARY

-Facebook was spammed with birthday wishes.
-Birthday call was queue-ing when I was in the phone with mum.
-Birthday texts came in one by one.
-Birthday tweets were accumulating as well.

-Kelly-Jeesin-Cue Ting- Chernvern (hostel buddies) were standing outside wishing me out loud (when I was STILL on the phone with mum, lol). They handed me a pack of candies. <3

-Returned call and listened to one of the best birthday song ever!
(sang by my close friend) :D

-Chit-chat with 3 girls (YQ, SH, YL) in one phone. :)

-Before sleep, I spotted a tagged birthday gift, (a photo of me and dearly sister > Pei Yie) <33

Her efforts, her thoughts, her sweetness > :')
Love you, babe!

MORNING :

- The sky with the sea of fluffy beautiful clouds amazed me.
-Smiling
-Reached class. Almost everybody wished! lol
-Replied thank you(s) and self-wished at 8.55am (it was supposed to be at 8.43am blehh).

-While I was on my way back to DK, Carmen (orientation friend) startled me with a birthday shoutout (scream?) lololol
-Literally hugged her after that. ;)
-Suprisingly received a gift from Rui You after that. :)
-In the DK, Pei Yie (sister) passed me a handmade bracelet. :O

-Was suprised, once again. ;')

Days before :
Khim, what's your favourite colour? :D
I don't know. Why? :P
Tell! Please tell. :(
Nehh I don't know. Why?? :P
Tell lah. Don't be so evil.
Hahahaha :P

She found out herself at last. That was why the bracelet is orange in colour. :)
<3

-At canteen two, I was about to order my lunch.
But while replying my high school friends' text messages,
Chai Siew Hui stopped me. o_O?
She.. .. ..
said

"PK PK! This is for you!
*handed me a box of self-cooked-lunch*"

I..(shocked)
(speechless)
(don't know what to react)
(shocked)

YQ : PK! Faster cry, faster cry!

I.. (face was red)
(cover face)
(photos were being snapped by YQ)

oh, well.

Mannn.
It was soooooooooo unexpected to receive a gift like that.
GAHHHHH :')
Chai Siew Hui, your suprise plan SUCCEED! *cheers for you

Behind the scene :
(HEHE :P )

Chai Siew Hui, the girl above,
planned this for a long time without my knowledge.
I thought she was just joking when she offered to cook a set of  lunch for me during my birthday as I shamelessly requested her to do so on January. :P
Well, I was just joking, you know.
I only received a birthday text from her the day before my big day,
so I didn't expect anything from her,
actually.

But god knows.
This evil little girl had plans set already in her mind. Tsk tsk.
Still, thank-you so much for the lunch (mayonaise-egg-tuna-bread), Siew Hui.

I lololololololololove it!
<3

-Nothing happened during GP. (Phew! Thankfully~ :) )
-Had a replacement class for Pure Maths. :(
-Reached DK 2 and was finding for seats.
-Four A-class boys were trying to sing a song but I stopped them. (lol)
-Wai Luen passed me a beverage -Hot Chocolate(?) from Starbucks.
-Treated by both WL and YW.
(astounded)
- Rejected because I can't take it. I simply can't. :(
-Being threatened :( and received the beverage at last. D:
-I..
I was grateful.

Thank you, guys.

-YQ whispered something to Mr. Lee SC -______-
-Sensed something wrong. Grrrrr.
-Before the class ended, everybody (in the DK) sang.
- ( god )
- Can't stop being thankful.

Thanks a lot, people! :)
xx

(Imma kill YQ silently one day.)
*smirks

From left : Xianghui, Wailuen, Yangwei and YoongKwong. :)

"Xie xie ni men." :)

Favourite photo of the day! :D
(Look! Both of us were in orange :D)

THENNNN!
*breathe in, breathe out*
I rushed back to hostel to leave my heavy school bag alone.
We- moi, WJ and YW took the LRT, heading to KLCC to our dinner destination at Pavillion. :)

As usual, all the crazy conversation never ends when it comes to three of us who do the talking. :P
YQ will be busy snapping photos,
whereas
ME and Weijan
will be talking-teasing her,
like
no one's business.

xD
XD!

So our dinner was at..
ICHIBAN BOSHI
(located at the lowest floor of the building)
I ordered myself a bowl of noodle with the hard-boiled-egg-seaweed-chicken-meat-on-top.
Sorry, I am bad in remembering the names of the food :P
My Chinese birthday (according to the Chinese calendar) falls on the same day AS WELL. (coincidence huh?)
Mum said, it's better to eat a hard-boiled-egg or simply misoa,
just as a symbol of luck.
So I did. :)

Letting her listen to some recordings. :)
Before 8, Wailuen joined us (the girl's talk). He's the one who did the laughing most of the time, as we talked.

-Walked back to KLCC, heading to Charlie Brown, for dessert (?)

A pretty cute restaurant with many Snoopy merchandise! :D

It was nine o'clock.
We were the last few customers who still landed our ass there, talking and joking.
Hahaha.
In a short while later,
YQ passed me something.

A handmade card from YQ and WJ! :D
Awwwwwwwh <3 <3
From my expressions above (photos) you could tell, how was I feeling, at that time.

:)

BEFORE WE OFFICIALLY STEPPED OUT OF THE DOOR OF KLCC,
we snapped trillions of photos.

We simply can't resist!

:P

Simple (I-dare-you-to-poke-me) top from F.O.S
Skinny jeans.
Checkered belt.
Smiley watch.
Brown sling bag.
Hot Pink Balm.

-Hugged EVERYONE.

Thank YOU, Yuqing and Wei Jan for all the plans and hardworks JUSSST
to make me happy. :) :)
Thank you for always bringing me to somewhere that I've never been to before.
I am officially announcing this at here that..
you girls OWN all my first time. hahaha :P
Thank you for.. everything, girls. :)
<33

-Reached hostel safely at 10.55pm. :)
-Replying birthday wishes all over the social-networking-websites.
-Last birthday song from a close friend! :)

12.00am sharp.
Hello, 11 February.

:)

13 February
It was Jeesin's birthday! :D
Her roommate, (Kelly) planned to have a birthday suprise for her at their own room! :D
SO I WAS PART OF THE PLANNER,
I was in charge of dragging her to my room, trying my very best to distract her from going up to her room.
xD

When the time was up, I phone called Kelly to tell her that we were ready to go up!
Ahaha.
Approaching her door, she opened. (dark, without light)
Kelly-and-the-other-planners
POPPED OUT and sang
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :D

When they sang the third line :

Happy BIRTHDAY to Jeesinandpeikhim. (Wait, ME??)
:O
I was like. (omg, what are you guys doing??)
:O
continues : Happy birthday to youuuuuuu.

:O
They passed  Jeesin a gift and passed me a plastic of..
of.. gift too.
:O
Inside my plastic,
there is a birthday card and a pair of earphone.
<3
Earphone is purple in colour. (Awwwh thank you, Kelly!) <3
Birthday card - wishes from every classmate of mine.
:O
:O

:')
Was suprised that all these people did this behind my back.
Gahhh I am..
touched. :')

Meanwhile,
19 February
Sherene Ng (my senior) bought me

THIS.
:O
Thanks a lot, Sherene. :)
I didn't expect for anything in return when you need my help in getting your documents from the SPUS office.
I seriously, seriously appreciate the gift and the nail polishes.

Thank youuuuu! *hugs
