The Little Nyonya
This is a Singapore drama which crowned as the best drama in Star Awards 2009.
This drama basically describe and tell us the real lifestyle of baba-nyonya and its custom.

This drama touched me, seriously.
The most touching part was the death of "juxiang" (acted by jeanette aw)
I cried uncontrolably lol.
I admire her character so much because as a woman, it is not easy to live in a world where you always get bullied and insulted by others.
Moreover, she is DEAF and MUTE!
She is strong and not easily to give up person. This proves when she work hard to earn money for life eventhough people around her spread rumours that her husband won't come back again after left her for years.
The patience and tough heart of hers in facing obstacles in life makes me love her more and even MORE!!
There's something special bout "Ju Xiang" (character) that I really learnt.
Something so valuable that i should practice in life as a human being.

* nya nya = mother
* ma ma = grandmother
* chor chor = great grandmother
* Tia = father
* kam cheng = a mini jar that is used in baba-nyonya's wedding
* cheki = a card games played by the old aunties
* beaded slippers
* rempah udang = one of the nyonya kuih
* ayam buah keluak = one of the traditional nyonya dish
* cooking and beading skills by the nyonya are very important for the Baba to choose their best bride
