P-L-Day ;

Picture from ;

Don't bother to know the long definition of my blog title. If you read my current facebook status, you'll know what it is.

On Friday night, I was busy packing, busy singing, busy skyping, busy eating, and busy talking on the phone, ended up sleeping at 4am. *sarcastic (Y)

So yesterday morning, Papa and me went to Block H to attend the P-L-day to get my oh-sucky-results. Pa was giving me that cool look, trying to comfort me that it's okay to pass all subjects. Yes, it's totally okay, Pa. But I can't maintain that kind of results for my AS. Totally no. *shakes head.

Reached the classrooms, smiled to people that I knew. My secret plan was ACTUALLY to let my Papa to meet Mr. Lee ONLY since you know, he's one of the lecturers who knows how to communicate in mandarin chinese. And it would be great to allow the Lee's to meet and SPEAK! *grins

So here goes (the conversation) :

Mr. Lee / Pa / Me
Errr your daugther did not score quite well for Maths. She's quite weak for simple questions like this.
Why is that so?
From my observation, her basic in Mathematics was very weak. Her foundation (the BASIC) when comes to solving a Mathematical problem was very bad. Her method in solving the questions are very disorganised, very clumsy and messy.
Why? Is it because she was distracted or can't focus during the class?
No no! Absolutely no. She is a very hardworking person, I can see that. She always attend my class, never absent before. Even, she mixes with very good friends who can study well. Basically she's a good student who always pay attention in class. The only thing is she can't get the point/the message I'm trying to say in class. She might understand the lesson, but in fact, she does not. I don't know what she doesn't understand  as she might assume that she understand the questions well, so she did not come to seek for me.
Is it due to the frequent-SMS-distraction or any boy-related distraction or maybe she's not used to the environment yet?
0___0 (since when I got distracted by all these SMS-es and boys, Pa. Since whennnnnn -__- )
No. It's not that. Just that she can't get the point. For example, during her self-studies, she can only absorb part of the whole chapter that she revise. You get what I mean?
Yeah, totally. How can you help her?
Well, I'm going to prepare some intensive questions specially for student like her, to test the level or the chapters that she's weak at so I can know where her mistake is and I'll try my best to help her.
(oh god. That's very nice.)
Blahs. blahs. blahs.

Overall, it almost turned up into an argument as Mr. Lee, the lecturer was cool smart enough to speak softly, in a polite way, I mean. Aha. The conversation lasted for at least 20-minutes-long, I reckon. *gasp

The following lecturer that we met was Miss Jynn. Hehe
As her Mandarin Chinese wasn't that good, she was struggling when she explained the GP subject to my Pa. But Pa just nodded, assuming that he understood (I hope). Basically, Miss Jynn told me that my basic knowledge about ANYTHING ain't good, my language skills (as in grammar, sentence structure) are poor, yet slowly improving. I was advised to read more factual, intellectual articles. :B K.

Mr Chong! (my favourite lecturer), was telling my Papa that I'm very hardworking, attentive, and so so on. (blush). He's trying to not make me feel bad over the results by saying,

"'Sir, if your daughter's results isn't good, it's my fault. Certainly my fault because I don't teach her well. (No, sir, you're good! I'm the one who suck :( ) She's improving, sir. Don't worry. I'm sure with all the hardworks she pour, I'm sure she can do well in AS" (awwwwwww :D )
And then(!) Pa went to him that I always stuck in my room, studying like really really hard.

(Good god, that's a FALSE accusation! Lmao. If and only if he caught me running around the cyberweb, he wouldn't say things like that :B )

"I always tell my students that I am very lucky because all the teachers that taught me were very good. I didn't study blindly. Instead, I'll always cycle around my village to release the tension after 2 hours of studies. So can you, PK. Try to relax yourself ". Pa agreed and pat my shoulder.

I'm like okay, sir. (lol) Pa, oh paaaa. :/

Halfway meeting the lecturers, I met Kwang Long, and his parents! :D They look reallyreallyREALLY alike though :)
Hehe, MOVINGON,

we met Ms. Chong, my Bio lecturer who's pregnant at present.
It was nothing much, just that my technique in answering the questions are not there. I need to get used to the questions by answering all the pass year questions. Hence, this upcoming holidays shouldn't be a waste.
Later on, Pa went to tell Ms C that Istuckinmyroonwholedaytostudylikeageek- the same old story. O__O
Ms. C was giving me that Ha?! :O look which made me feel so awkward. Without further hesitation, I immediately replied her, "No, miss. It is not true, NOT TRUE!
By looking at her eyes, I knew she believed who :/ Eeesh.

Neway, her Mandarin Chinese was effing GOOD! (I must say), I was stunned and suprised that she can speak so fluently, though. No wonder she said, "Hey! Look at me, what skin am I, of course I know how to speak Chinese!"

Duhhhh.

LastbutnotleastwemetMr.Siva. HUAHUAHUA.
He was about to leave, but I managed to stopped him (lol).
I asked him " SIR! Could you please speak Malay to my father? He doesn't know how to speak English, so.. .. .. "
"If I remember how.."
(lol)

He showed Pa my results, he said
"Bukan sema manusia panndai. Anak awak kiraaa "average" lahh. Dia dari sixty to forty-four to now fifty something, kira oklah. Kita sebagai ibubapa dia, hanya harap anak boleh dapat bagus punya result."

"Ya, betul betul."

"Kita pun tak boleh tekan mereka, nanti mereka jadi GILA! (lol) Nanti mereka gila, siapa jaga? KITA yang jaga!"

"Betul, betul! Kamu cakap itu betul! *laugh really LOUD* "

Err. Lol? Basically, it was a rather short conversation as there was a LOT of awkward moment, maybe there was no topic to talk about so we chiaoz at around.. one pm?

Mmmm. My conclusion is it was a sigh-worthing-moment. All my lecturers had pointed out my apparent mistakes, but I am the one who really should seek for them, screw them badly and recorrect them.

* Disorganised basics.
* Techniques in answering the questions.
* Incorrect ways of studying.
* Study hours.
* Relaxing hours.
* Lazyness a.k.a procrastination.
* Time divider. Time planner.

Of course, or maybe I really need time to adapt to the one that I'm studying now. But how much time I have now? 6 more months to AS. I know myself well, I'm a slow-learner, I'm someone who does not give up easily, I do have a strong determination if I don't get distracted easily, but what's the point?

"If you're very stressed now, I'm sure you'll suffer alot for A2. I am sure" - Miss C

"You'll sure (showing me the "you'll be dead in exam" hand sign) if you keep on study like this. SURE > (showing the hand sign again). Seriously speaking, with your Mathematic standard, I can assure you that you can't score for Maths and Physics very well. I'm not telling you lies alright, it's the truth! " -Mr L

OUCHHH.
Picture from ;

Hopes obviously crashed into pieces but I did not take it seriously, as I know they were all motivation words. Stay postive, PK. POSITIVE!

"Of course, with your results like that, you'll need to work harder than anyone else. You'll suffer more, that's for sure." -Mr L

(In my heart, I don't mind working hard, to be honest. That's life I'm having, isn't it?)

*shivers

"Well it's alright! You work harder, I work twice harder than you. You work twice harder, I work THRICE harder than you. I believe, you sure can do it!" -Mr Chong.

I suddenly feel that,

THERE'S HOPE
:)
