Fly a kite.
I've been wanting to do this alone or with a friend or a group of friends. 12 years ago, when I was innocently  8 years old.. I remembered flying a kite in front of my father's grocery shop. The higher it flies, the happier I was because at that time, I felt extremely great to see my kite, soaring high, gaining its freedom as the strong wind blows. I remembered clearly that it almost knock the aeroplane which was flying towards my kite, hahahaha silly me, how could a plane knock such a light kite and I'm pretty sure it was one of the optical illusions that I once had during younger times. :P Whether the kite has blocked the pilot's view or not, I was darn happy to see my kite flying next to the plane (optical illusion, pardon me) hahahah again, I felt great. :)

Read a book.
I never like reading books. Have I told you this? Because once before I never think reading books could improve my language but I was sorely wrong. Mr. Midnight series by James Lee was the saviour of my language proficiency. :) I'll never forget how it brings joy, and horror to me back in those days when I was 14. :) Today, reading a book has been like a habit to me. I love it. I love reading every words and thoughts that the writer wants to express, of course there will always be the time where I got bored of reading but the moment when you're about to finish a book after days of reading it, in the end, you'll learn something and there's this pure of joy feeling which is indescribable that makes you look forward to read another new book, with a smile again. :)

Learn something NEW.
This, has always been effective and probably the nicest among all the list above. Cooking, photographing, travelling, DIY, handcrafting, etc. Don't stress yourself when you're taking in something new to your brain. Relax and learn it genuinely, if not, how can you take a break from life?

Put on some music and DANCE.
I DID THIS I DID THIS. During the Valentine's Day. :D Hahahahahahahahahaha - don't ask me why, I just did! :D

Take a bike ride.
Gah. I. miss. this. so. so. so. frigging much!
I stopped riding my bike (bicycle) since I was 14, again. The bicycle was too small for me, therefore it was donated to the child whom my mum taken care of. :( Well yeah, since then I never ride anymore.

Watch the stars.

When I was a young, little PK, I pulled out the lazy chair, setting myself comfortably, head facing the starry sky. I wasn't a fan of constellations, hence muttered to myself while pointed aimlessly at the sky, "That must be the buruj pari (Crux) !". Well, I don't know what does it call in English, just so you know I learnt Science in Malay language when I was in standard four, five and six. :)
Someday, I was hoping to view the starry sky again, with anyone, preferably the person whom I love, friends or family I don't mind as long as we get to see and enjoy the nature together, I'd be more than happy. :)

Write a letter.
Occasionally, I do this to my close friends, to my loved ones. I must admit, I miss writing letters and receiving letters. :')

Rest your legs up on a wall.
One word : AWESOME.
You guys must do this when you're free. It's fun, yet painful if you do it for too long but the "fun" resting your butt on the wall is.. .. .. hehe try it yourself.

Watch the clouds.
Staring at the movement of clouds actually makes you believe that the Earth is actually spinning, turning and for that time is actually slowly tickling away from us. I love watching the clouds. Maybe I love the different patterns or the colours.. I don't know, it's just lovely.

Read or watch something funny.
Tumblr, twitter or facebook do a great job when it comes to this. Sometimes Papa got curious and would laugh along when he sees me laughing alone in front of the computer screen. That's awkward.

Forgive someone.
I don't just forgive, I ask forgiveness randomly from anyone at any time. I think it's good. It feels nice and comforting especially when the person who once hate you forgave you for whatever you had done. Vice versa, I do forgive those who hurt me. I mean, letting go something that cause pain to your heart is very soothing. It's not easy to forget but when the time comes, it'll be wiped off from your mind eventually. :)
Or.. it's just me. I apologise to everyone even I did not do anything wrong.

Give thanks.
Say thank you, to everyone who have helped you, who have been there for you. Show them your appreciation by simplicity - a hug, a kiss, a small gift, a message or anything that is inexpensive. :)

Engage in small acts of kindness.
I think volunteer is the best to fall in this category. :)

All in all,
taking a break means stay away from the stressful life and engaged yourself with relaxing activities.

Right now, I feel like going to the zoo. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Okbai. :P
