This was supposed to be posted last Friday but I delayed it until today. #epicfail
HIII! -once again.
Last Friday marks the end of my trials exam (not exactly) but yes. I've gained 78% of the freedom back.
Self-hooray.
I did not do very well for Physics, honestly speaking. All I hope was just luck and at least a little bit blessing from dear God. :(
Speaking of being emo, I was kinda-well-sorta-depressed that day because the paper ended at 11.15am, which I considered it was too early for lunch? I skipped my lunch anyway so I rested myself on the canteen's blue chair, chatting with dear friends!
My plan for the day was :
1) To go to Pavillion's Typo (A very unique stationery shop) to spend my RM100 book voucher that were left unused since February.
2) Stroll around Kinokuniya and KLCC.
with.. friends.
Unfortunately, none of them is interested to go, so I went there alone, all by myself.
Woo. My first time, actually. :)
So when I first reached KLCC, I made my appearance (a real quick one) at Kino, to quickly browse through the HotShot book by the Star photographers. :) Upon admiring the beauty-meaning-ful photos, I feel so much inspired, to become anyone of them. :) Their skilful shots just made me love the book to bits! ♥
Since I have not yet explored the second floor of the bookstore, up I went, with my thoroughly heavy schoolbag, yet with a smile. :)
Spot photography books section, fashion, art, and so much more. While waiting for the time to pass, I sat on the floor, like the guy next shelf :P and took one of the book to
Most of the books were sealed so I couldn't flip or look at the content much.
The clock hand showed two, as I told myself :
"Go. And come back fast".
After phonecalled Jan for direction, I zoomed at my fastest speed to the shop that I wanted to go without looking left or right.
Hahahaha. Dramatic, isn't it? :P
Before I started to walk (fast, like usual), I stopped by at one of my favourite store!
Hehehehe BOOST that is! I had a "BananaBuzz" which costed me around RM 7? Time to treat myself good, for once.
On my way there, I almost got lost but thanks to the guider there, I got my way right.
Met Yuqing and some A-class boys (who were walking to KLCC for SNSD concert!) :)
Sorry YQ, as I was on the rush (real rush) to you so-you-know, an urgent place before the shop so I couldn't talk to you much with my best calm voice. My apology!
...
At the Typo stationery shop, I was glad yet dissapointed because apparently they don't verify nor receive any students' book voucher. :( And most of the stuff that I saw when I first stepped in to the shop wasn't there anymore. :(
Guess it wasn't my luck then! Somehow, I'll save some cash and definitely will go there again. :)
Enough of the morning's depression, this automatically increased my level of depression! ><
Brrrrrrr. Walked back to KLCC with a :L face.
Plenty time I had, so what did I do then?
I walked.walked.walked. back to Kinokuniya, and toured around the literature section again. There were a few people who sat down comfortably on the floor, leaning against the glass window and reading the books that interested them.
Being fascinated, I did the same too, by picking a non-fiction book and sat at the edge of the BESTSELLINGBOOKS section.
It was a little bit boring as I was kept yawning, closing my mouth with both hands because I didn't get enough sleep the night before. But soon, I overcame it.

It's about.. our mental health, our behaviour as well as the why(s) , the research(s), the link(s) and many many more.
There are a lot of true facts and quotable sayings too!
For example?

THIS.
Isn't that true?

Yeap. It's a psychology book that I picked. A pretty attractive, one. :)
I did not finish the book, as I need to go back home very soon.
Then I decided to spend the book voucher on that day itself, so as to not waste. Instead of choosing another novel, I went to self-enrichment section, thinking of buying an inspirational book.
BUT!
guess what I spot?

GAHH. THIS.
You have no idea of what this is?
Seriously?
Google search quick!
Google search quick!
It's actually a empty-spaced journal with instructions each page. YOU- as the owner of journal should do what the instruction says so the author call it "WRECK THE JOURNAL" because most of the instructions are nasty, nor disgusting but full of creativity. :)
Example?
- Chew this page.
- Chew this page.
- Spit your coffee on this page.
- Create an endless line.
- Document your dinner.
- Create an endless line.
- Document your dinner.
I was suprised to see this appearing at Malaysia's bookstore because I thought THIS is only available at Europe/America. Woo.
Before I saw this, I spotted "THIS IS NOT A BOOK" by the same author, Keri Smith. I believe it's a continuation of "Wreck This Journal".
As I was holding the book, while considering whether -to buy or not,
Before I saw this, I spotted "THIS IS NOT A BOOK" by the same author, Keri Smith. I believe it's a continuation of "Wreck This Journal".
As I was holding the book, while considering whether -to buy or not,
a random guy grabbed another W.T.J from the shelf and ran away. :O
Without further hesitation, I grasp tightly and headed to the counter.
Summary of the post : I used the voucher to buy myself..

1) A photography notebook
2) A novel
3) WRECK THIS JOURNAL.
4) A photo album for myself. :)
5) A ES-calculator (no photo).
Kinda worth it and self-satisfaction is raised! :)
Self-taught-lessons ;
To be able to travel alone, is a good thing, a good experience and is an adventure. To read a book on the floor makes me feel like a 7-year-old-kid again, reading passionately, and ignoring the world around you. #imissmychildhood. :) To develop a habit of reading is tough if you are not a regular reader but come to think about it. Reading is fun. It's a new habit that I'm gonna pick up again, after I ditched it due to the lack of time. Trust me, I'll be back to the reading world again. :)
For being alone doesn't makes you a loner but it is apart of everybody's independent life. Sometimes, you don't need a lot of reasons to make yourself happy. Just look at people around you, look at the simplest things, look at what you have and what they don't. Smile and say, it's okay. As time passes, the mood will heal itself, and you just gotta tell yourself this:
Life. This is life.
