~A basketball competition was held again between East High WILDCATS and the West High Knights in the gym. The scoreboard showed 24 for wildcats and 37 for the Knights.The buzzer rang which marked the first half game was over. All the wildcats looked shell-shocked. Coach Bolton advised and told them that they had only "16"minutes left in the game.the season..and for the seniors on this squad. "in a wildcats uniform as well" said Coach while glanced over at Troy,Chad,Zeke,and Jasaon.Troy stood up and raised up their team spirits. Chad joined and cheered enthuastically,"WHAT TEAM?" "WILDCATS!" they yelled back.With full of energy and spirits,they headed back to the gym.The song "Now Or Never" began. (listen it to make it more realistic into your imagination!)At last,the Wildcats had won. A layup for two points made by Jimmie Z.Cheers from the crowd covered the whole gym.
At the party,Bolton's house,Troy found Gabriella.They talked but just then,Chad,Mr.Bolton,and Coach Kellog,the U of A basketball coach,walked over to them.Gabriella politely stepped aside.They talked about the U of A and the Redhawk teams which Troy and Chad's dads wanted their son to be in the University so badly.Troy tried to excuse himself as soon as he could.Just then,he searched for Gabriella again. He saw her and grabbed her while holding a plate of food that she requested.Gabriella followed Troy and a few minutes later,she found herself was high above the tree house."Right Here,Right Now" song started nicely..They were chatting bout their own respective future. suddenly,they were interrupted by a loud voice of Troy's mother.So sighing,they both climbed down the tree and joined the party.
~Bright morning,buses started arriving at East high Sch.Not longer,a shiny,sparkling pink convertible Mustang rode past and parked into a private spot outlined.Miss Sharpay and Ryan stepped out. School doors swung open as Miss Evans headed inside.Chad placed the Wildcats new championship trophy on top of it. Sharpay glanced at he group and started,"Hi,when's the big game?" Troy replied curiously,"Yesterday?" While checking her text msgs and she wished them,"Well,good luck! toodles~" as she waled down the hall.The team stared at her in disbelief .She got to her locker and was startled by a bookish young girl.She was Tiara Gold and was looking for to be Sharpay's personal assistant.She seemed to know every single thing bout Sharpay and Sharpay herself was impressed~Troy went into Mrs Darbus homeroom,which he never believe he'll be inside there.Just then,Taylor Mc Kesssie,and Sharpay Evans announced their parts which Ms Darbus ordered.Kelsy looked up and continued writing "Oh,we're actually doing quite well," Everyone look at each other,puzzled. Gabriella agreed and told everyone else that this is the last time they are doing this together,TOGETHER. At lunch time,Sharpay and Ryan talked about the Julliard and sang "I Want It All"
~While Gabriella and Taylor was talking about the Stanford University,Troy gave a call to Gabriella and waved to her from the roof top. Gabriella rushed to the rooftop and found out that Troy stood beside 3 tuxedos hanging from it. Troy pulled out 2 tickets from the tuxedo jackets with the words EAST HIGH SENIOR PROM-LAST WALTZ. Troy was worried about the waltz because he didnt know anything of it.Gabriella gave him a shy glance and they began dancing as they tried to teach one another the steps.They were moving gracefully as the song "Can I Have this Dance" accompany along.A light rain fell and they ran for the stairs well when the bell suddenly rang.While Jimmie and Donny stepped out from the shower area,wrapped in a towels,but still dripping wet,Troy and Chad walked towards the varsity team's locker.They counted "5,6,7" and started runnig while carrying Jimmie's and donny's things.They chased thorugh the Hall Of Champions,Main Hall,volleyball court and finally the theatre. Suddenly,they realised that they actually were in the centre stage. Everybody looked at them with a questioning look. Later that afternoon,Troy and Gabriella went into Gabrilla's house by Troy's truck.They entered Gab's backyard and started a conversation. Their topic stopped by Mrs.Montez.
~Next morning,Taylor and Gabriella worked on the Yearbook.Troy and Chad joined them. Meanwhile,Zeke was a bundle a nerves when heading to Sharpay's room.While standing unstable-ly,Zeke began his words.Unfortunately,Sharpay wasn't listening and saw Zeke stood anxiously at the doorway. She said,"Zeke,you're taking me to the prom..Your tuxedo will be delivered but don't wear it to your ballroom dance lessons," "Dance lessons?" Zeke looked dazed. He walked down the stairs with a shock expression.Troy and Chad entered the cafeteria,approaching Taylor,Gabriella,Kelsi and Martha.Chad's hand is replaced by a bouquet of flowers.Chad shouted for the second request "Taylor Mc Kessie,will you pls be my date to the senior prom?" Taylor annnounced,"I'd honoured "The Cafeteris burst into cheers and applause.At that moment,Troy shoot basketball with Chad and still got to get Chad into a tuxedo. "No way,man" They are in the stage and perform while sing "A Night To Remember".Sharpay wanted to know what Kelsi wrote for Troy and Gabriella and nudged Ryan towards the piano.Jimmie jumped up to Troy.Troy was really annoyed and told him that actually Sharpay had a crush on him.His face lit up swielved around to look at Sharpay.Troy took the chance to escape! Finally,Jimmie and Tiara were both in to play understudy role. Then Sharpay got to know that Gabriella will be going to the honors program.She smiled smugly.
~Ryan sat down quietly at the grand piano and played with Kelsi.They began to sing "Just Want To Be With You" the first two lines,and was continued by Troy and Gabriella.so,Ryan and Kelsi will be going to prom together. Taylor and Gabriella talked about Stanford again.Gabriella was hardly to laeve East High. Just then,Troy and Chad went to a halt at a junkyard filled with rusted old cars.They sang "Boys Are Back". Gabirella still sticked with her own decision that she'll take Stanford next year. Taylor and Gabriella's mother exchanged glances. Troy and Gabriella was thinking bout their future and were really upset to leave everything.Sharpay startled Troy and told him that Gabriella was selected for the Stanford Freshman Honour program. Troy was suprised.That night,Gabriella was doing homework and Troy called her.They were eating pizzas together at Gabriella's room.They started a conversation bout the Stanford. Gabriella looked down. Then Troy left. Gabriella was sad and sang "Walk Away".As soon as Gabriella left for Stanford,East high seemed to become a totally different place.Troy and his dad were discussing bout Troy's upcoming future.Troy seemed not-in-a-mood was trying to figure out where he was going next.He headed to East High,walking and suddenly he felt like screaming when recall all those memories. Instead,he sang a song "Scream"to express all his feelings.Then Troy got to know that Ms Darbus was the one who applied his name to Julliard.
~Gabriella got used to being at Stanford.At Bolton's house,Troy showed his mum the tuxedo that Gabriella chose.Not long,Gabriella phoned and told Troy that she couldn't attend the prom and wouldn't say good-bye to East High again.She need to stay where she is now. She hung up in tears. All the Wildcats started arriving at East High for the prom.at Stanford,Gabriella walked towards her dorm.Troy suprised her. She gasped and express her unbeliveable look. Troy jumped down from the tree and dance with Gabriella.They imagined that they were really in the prom.Everyone was nervous about the musical.Jimmie got a call from Troy and he had to take his role to sing with Sharpay. Jimmie's face turned pale. Everything turned up well when they sang "Senior Year Spring Musical" When it was over,the curtain fell.Senior Year was a smashing sucess.
~Curtain rose.As Ms Darbus read their names,each students took his/her turns in the spotlight with the touching song "We're All In This Together". Troy chose both basketball and theatre which University of California in Berkeley affords. Besides,this is also a place where only 32.7 miles from Gabriella. Chad was upset while Troy advised him.
Now,it was the time to get to the football stadium and graduate! The stadium was filled with parents,brothers,sisters,friends as the Wildcats prepared for one last big moment at East High.With a cheering mood,everyone threw their caps into the air and sang "High School Musical" while dancing as they could not leave East High without one last song. Before reach the end,the wildcats turned around for one more look at the place that had changed their lives. This was the end of highschool-end of 4 years of friendship and fun-of discoveries and changes that they couldn't have imagines on the first day at East High.
